I have an idea for an OSW term. A Hart-to-Hart. It's in reference to the Hart family (even Anvil Neidhart) constantly stating wrestlers' names when cutting a promo. Even though this was a trend at the time, the Hart family built another dynasty with this.

As someone who lives in Norwich i actually often go to watch WAW. They are actually quite high production value now! Ricky (The Dad) still wrestles and Roy and Zak have formed a tag team. They are actually really rather good! I also enjoyed the references to Norwich market etc.

I work in live sports TV and we almost always have another game/sport on one of the monitors in the truck during our broadcast because we're sports fans and we get feeds from literally every sports network in the world, so there's usually something else that's at least worth having on in the background while we're on the air (especially if it's playoff season for a particular sport).

I was watching this movie with my girlfriend a few days ago and we both loved the movie. She always loved Paige as a wrestler and she also watches Total Divas. I was stunned at the level of acting and story in a WWE movie. Great shit!

The WWE DIVAS Championship was introduced in 2008 edition of the Great American Bash because of a tournament with the finale match being.. Michelle McCool beating Natalie using a submission move. Not Night of Champions 2010.

Another thing I remember, the release date was pushed back because the new Predator movie was coming out around the time they planned on releasing it, and they didn't want to complete. Looking back, and comparing both movies, it is a shame, because it would have been nice to have a great movie like Fighting With My Family to see to wash the bad taste out of the mouth the Predator movie gave many people.

I think they kept Zelina in her gear because Paige already had that grungy look, and the movie already suggests that one of the reasons they signed her was that she looked very different. So that choice was made to accentuate Paige's different look.

I'd argue he also made it as a wrestler, just on a smaller scale. like, while his greatest matches might "only" be held in high regard by thousands of people (instead of potentially millions), it's not like he left his mark (at the very least with those aforementioned thousands of people). (it's essentially the same as with "cult" bands who are big in certain subcultures but never managed to break into "mainstream": those that are into those subcultures immediately recognize them as amazing. just like the majority of wrestling fans who have been following "the indies" for more than just a brief time recognize McGuinness as an amazing talent)

The movie was awesome but being the smelly mark that I am it was hard watching a bunch of it as they altered so many different things from Paige's career. The ones that got me the worst were in reality she was the first ever nXt womens champion and was super over and this wasn't conveyed at all in the movie and when she confronted AJ after Mania she got a massive pop from the crowd but in the movie they had the crowd dead silent looking like they had no clue who she was.

Yer I think t might’ve been ruined cause I know Wrestling history, but I think OSW are kinda overselling the film, it’s a pretty dull Adair with fun moments and a good story arc for Zack. Really I don’t think any other film that deals with Pro Wrestling outside Documentary’s or The Wrestler can adapt a great story.

Didn’t enjoy the film like everyone else, Zacks story was the highlight, but the WWE portion of the film is just hard to watch if you are very interested in the history of WWE. It’s a pretty above average film with so much history being bent to ‘fit a narrative’

What always bothered me about Paige's scream was that it was just taken from fellow Shimmer wrester MsMchif who did it a thousand times more awesome. It was basically part of her gimmick that her guttural roars/screams were so intimidating that she frightened away refs and lower card heels. Paige always sounded like young Simba from the Lion King by comparison.
