How can Pikkon be canon in the Tournament of Power Arc in Dragon Ball Super? Because if Goku recruited Pikkon instead of Frieza to take Fat Buus’ place as the 10th fighter for The Universe 7 Team for The Tournament of Power then the events of The Tournament of Power would have played out very differently. But however this doesn’t seem to make much sense because Pikkon is non canon and a filler character and because of that The Canon Version of Goku who is the mainstream version of himself has not only no interest in having him on his team but however he does not even know who Pikkon is and never had met him nor have become friends with him nor have any flashbacks of him at all. Only Gokus’ movie/filler version of himself knows who Pikkon is and despite the fact that Pikkon is non canon and a filler character and in order for him to become canon character he has to be rebooted and have a similar origin story to his filler/non canon version of himself to be canon or a different story in order to be canon and to fit in the main story as all the other canon characters that you see throughout DBZ and DBS. But although Pikkon throughout the one of the filler episodes did take out Cell within in a few seconds in Hell as he also took out King Cold and Frieza within a few seconds in Hell as well. Pikkon was shown to be very powerful and he became a mini rival to Goku and then later on friends with him. Because when Frieza got killed by Future Trunks he was sent straight to Hell by where those fairies and elephants would appear circling around a tree he was tied up in a cocoon on. But not the other side of Hell where there were spikes and red water at all. Because when Frieza was resurrected back to life by his own army he reverted back to his first form and then later on started training a little bit to become stronger and gained a new form called The Golden Form however when he witnessed Kid Trunks he thought he was the son of Future Trunks who had killed him but then later on Frieza would fight against Gohan again and he would also fight Goku again but however they both had no memories nor flashbacks of fighting each other in the different part of Hell where there were spikes and red water and other villains who were there such as King Cold being Friezas’ Father and another villains such as Cell and The Ginyu Force those villains being Gordo, Recoome, Burter and Jeice. Frieza had no memories of getting knocked out by Pikkon in the other part of Hell where there were spikes and red water at all. So this right here comes to show that Goku and Frieza had none of those memories nor any flashbacks of fighting each other in Hell at all. But however Frieza did in fact transformed into his final form and then later on he started to fight Goku and then later on he transformed into his new Golden Form as Goku began to transformed into his Super Saiyan Blue Form and then the two had fought each other. When Frieza got killed a second time this time by Goku he was sent back to Hell again where these fairies and elephants again circling the tree and being stuck in a cocoon on the tree again. When The Tournament of Power Arc had began it was revealed that Frieza was training with his mind and having mental focus as he was tied in a cocoon before The Tournament of Power was going to start in the null realm. As far as i remember during frieza saga when racoom and ginu force arrive at king kais planet , even yamcha and tien were able to beat them , as king kai said " in other world lot of their (bad guys i guess)power is suppressed and so even you can beat them" i think the similar thing happened with cell and frieza and others and thats why pikkon was able to beat him with no problems at all. You said it bugged you how he could beat them that easily i think that was the reason .

Heroes is constantly over the top and while I don't dislike it, I'm fully aware it's not cannon, but still wouldn't like SS4 popping up in Super. Cooler, maybe. Technically Cooler isn't even cannon at all and Broly just became cannon. There are a ton of possibilities they could take, I only meant to convey my excitement of that scope.

Yeah I'd like to see Paikuhan make a return, an interesting character. I was a bit confused as to how he could be straight up stronger than Super Perfect Cell, when Super Perfect Cell was arguably approaching Super Saiyan 2 levels of power, but tbh what annoyed me more was the filler in Dragonball Z where Yamcha takes down Olibu (the big tall blonde guy who was basically a mythic Hercules inspired character) and some winged gorilla looking fighter. Now to understand the context, whilst wearing weighted clothing Paikuhan took down Super Perfect Cell with only 2 blows, but it was a longer fight, with more blows exchanged before Paikuhan knocked Olibu out of the ring in the Otherworld tournament! Yes you could argue that Paikuhan took Super Perfect Cell by surprise, but if you low balled it the exchange would still imply that Olibu was around Super Perfect Cell's level! So for Yamcha to take down Olibu so easily in a sparring match during the fusion saga in Z in the filler implies him to be stronger than Perfect Cell, which makes no sense! We all know that if Yamcha faced Super Perfect Cell, all Cell would have to do is flick Yamcha and that would be it, so yeah, I had a major problem with that, even though it was only filler.

This is just a theory of mine, but I think it's pretty heavily implied by what's shown visually: Paikuhan's Burning Shoot (the flaming aura that he used when front-kicking Cell) is a technique that, similar to Kaioken, multiplies the user's power in bursts (he may have learned the technique from West Kaio like Goku learned Kaioken from North Kaio). He doesn't use the Burning Shoot in his fights against Olibu and Goku, so that would explain how much stronger he looks against Cell than against them. I'm always surprised to see more people haven't already picked up on how the flaming aura only appears in one of Paikuhan's other attacks, his ultimate technique the Thunder Flash attack, and correlated that to the relative strength of the attacks. If this theory is correct, Yamcha would be nowhere near Super Perfect Cell and the strength comparison chain should go something like this: Olibu < Paikuhan w/weighted clothes nearly = Base Goku (Otherworld Saga) < Yamcha (Buu Saga) < Base Goku (Buu Saga)

What made Paikuhan so interesting was the fact that he is the first character since the Ginyu Force that didnt have any Bullshit powerup mechanic (mainly transformations or unlimited powersources like the androids) but was still able to be on the same Level as Goku (or even a small step above in terms of Power because he pummels SSJ Goku pretty hard).

No he’s not canon at all and also that episode is filler and just because he was in that episode doesn’t mean he’s canon it was filler he’s just a character who was based off of Piccolo and was made only for the filler episodes and Fusion Reborn Movie and never appeared in the manga. Akira Toriyama did in fact created him but he never said he was canon. He’s also not even mentioned in Dragon Ball Super at all.
