As it relates to TMS, many who have symptoms besides back pain feel like TMS doesn't apply to them.

I SO needed this today, Dan. Yesterday for me it finally clicked. All was revealed to me, and I finally understood, after months or TMS work, exactly how my TMS worked. Today my brain was telling me “That’s not possible. I understand your brain and nervous system is powerful, but they just can’t make that happen. It’s not TMS.” I made a list of all the reasons why it is and why my brain will keep fighting me on that until it realizes it’s safe.

Realizations come when we least expect them. Write down an evidence journal that it's TMS. Read it any time you are in doubt.

I absolutely love this video, Dan. This really hits the nail on the head on every single level. I felt like this was weirdly speaking to me because I’m making a decision on perusing a particular program with a mentor because I need a bit of guidance in this realm and I feel like this was affirmation for me to stop thinking about it and go for it. I’ve been here, looking for others, for months and it’s such a waste of time. It doesn’t matter if I would be the first one to overcome TMS PN symptoms - which I’m not - it’s all the same stuff at the end of the day. I actually just did the PPD assessment for the first time the other day and every. single. answer. was. yes. In anything I do, I do it in extremes apparently. And these past couple videos have been so helpful - from connecting the dots of WHEN it began (not from a “birth injury” but a year after when I got confirmation that the mass in my brain was not a tumor after a month and a half of scans and doctor visits) to all the other manifestations I’ve had of this (pelvic pain, IBS, migraines, and the most extreme one: a time of ALS panic when I was experiencing weakness and full body twitching over the span of a year and a half until I finally realized it wasn’t really in my body, it was my mind). Tms is absolutely crazy. So for anyone out there who doesn’t believe the hell in can bring on your life - I’ve been living proof for 2 decades. Thanks Dan. Appreciate you.

For whatever reason my poor little emotional brain is suffering from grief..guilt..fear..and anger..and it screaming pain signals..anxiety..panic and pain..heaviness..numbness etc. in various changing places. So I engage my rational brain to reassure my emotional brain..”You are Safe and Everything is going to be ok.” I take a mindfulness minute..slow down my thinking..bring my energy back into my body..and Reassure myself. I can’t always identify the immediate cause..so I just self-soothe. That seems to be what works for me the Best. And symptoms can be anything anywhere!

Wow a wealth of Wisdom & knowledge in this morning's video Dan. TMS=HOPE🙏 I have a Question if I may regarding experience of TMS & people's perceptions & expectations of you? I'm not referring in anyway to the belief in TMS as youre cause. example: a person goes to the Doctor's unable to work due to chronic pain(pain location is irrelevant). Modern medicine takes up the gauntlet & after extensive tests fails to validate a reason for the person's distress! Now this is the important point💡 The person is still left with the original pain/symptoms he sought medical advice for,in pain everyday & employment practically untenable..but💡💡 because of no validation medically for you're suffering family, friends & to some extent employer see NO reason for you're ongoing distress? ...well if the Doctors/consultants say there's nothing wrong then you can just pick up where you left life at the point this all started! Of course I can Since the Medical verdict came back all my pain has miraculously disappeared 🙄....I hope you get the point Dan & maybe you or others have experience of it too.All people's perceptions do is pour petrol onto a already skyward fire.I hold of saying all those mentioned think we are Liar's for some absurdity but that's how it comes across sometimes even from the closest of friends & family🙄Thoughts Dan? Anyone?🙏🌤️☀️🌱

While I understand it can be frustrating to be judged by others and have them not believe in TMS, it's much more important what YOU believe. We don't need others permission or agreement to get rid of our TMS pains or symptoms. If others comments are not helpful, you can coach them to simply not speak about the pain with you.

I did get rid of my pain very quickly after learning a bit about TMS. But... It is back, and I am questioning it all again, trapped in the "yes but maybe you've got cancer" and all. Guess I still have some work to do!!

@@nadegefoucher4730 That's a good indicator of it being TMS. Did you take the pain test I suggested earlier? Anything over 29 is TMS.

@@PainFreeYou yes I did I get 36! Is it "enough" to rule out any bad diagnosis? Otherwise I should go see my doctor but last time he prescribes me xrays ,I didn't do it cause I am afraid it makes me more paranoid 😅🙃

Any symptom can become persistent when feared and focused upon for long enough. So, yes, even eye strain can be TMS / created by the brain. This means it can be reversed. Solutions are on my getting started page: www.PainFreeYou.com/start

Hi Dan, Thank you again for an awesome video. Im not experiencing any physical symptoms any longer. Now its the emotional stuff im stuck on. Anxiety and mild depression. Stuck on thinking I have a mental illness. I do the work but have to remind myself daily its TMS.

Deciding you are NOT mentally ill and being indifferent to the anxiety and depression will help that go away as well. You're not broken, you just think you are.

I been to so many doctors. The x-ray and MRI shows no damage. Now, I know this happend right after moving, new position at work, and financial stress. My doctors have told me to quit my job which only causes more stress.

For example. I "bought" rent a land almost in the middle.of nowhere but the neighboors are stressfull. This situatiom will always bother me. So my pain will always be there ? My pains flares up everythime i think about it. I am not a peacefull person easely stressed out. Could i encounter peace of the body before finding healthy solution.. because i need to walk and move my arms nromally. I am so young. And even if i was 90. Walking is naturally needed..

Please advise what to watch or read about TMS when you get a “pinched nerve” diagnosis. Ugh. I was convinced I had TMS foot pain and now nerve conduction Study Doctor today told me about some “pinched nerves” in my foot and lower back. He said that could be causing my pain. And he said I had stenosis in my lower back.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/onaqpn5vqdJ1jbM The diagnosis is likely meaningless. It's most likely TMS that appears as nerve pain which is very common. Find out if it's TMS: YourPainTest.com If it is, the roadmap to recovery is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaetmHWkp815qpo
