Thank you, Dan! I needed that today. Had the flew, but still not well after 2 weeks. Feels like I am getting ill all over again. Now I know that's PDS too! And I will treat it that way. I know it's a false alarm from my brain, because I was worrying about not being able to work. And because I am focussing on my symptoms. So, I just decided I AM OK! ❤

Hi Dan! An idea of topic for your videos: a lot of my patients have associated winter with more pain, anxiety or even depression. There is usually a lot a fear coming up with winter approaching. I wonder what part of this is due to conditioning. Indeed I don't think the lack of light explains everything, and I believe brain perception is important. I would love to have your take on this! Thanks!

In February this year my symptoms started, neck, back & both hands. Last week doctor told me the ulna collateral ligament in my right thumb was torn off.....this started (I think) with partial tear in February and has been tearing gradually till it snapped off completely. My left hand totally mirrored the pain of my really injured right hand! Doctor couldn't believe I'd been coping with the pain for so long. PS: my neck & back symptoms are completely gone. Thanks Dan!

Dan, on a separate, but very related note, I’ve been learning about toxic shame. Sometimes, I’m not calm because of ancient messages inside of me… that can bleed over into how I think and feel about physical symptoms. It can truly color all of my experiences when it takes over my brain. Fortunately, this no longer activates my lower back issues, but it’s still tied in with my digestive tract symptoms on bad days
@mkykta9140Ай бұрын
Isn't shame just an emotion/feeling tied to our thinking & thoughts? 🤔
@johnwest1999Ай бұрын

Hi Dan, do you think it’s possible for those of us living with an ongoing real danger (in my case stage 4 cancer in remission) to recover from CFS symptoms through retraining the brain like this? I’m so on board with the mind body theory but I’m wondering if my cancer diagnosis and ongoing monitoring of that is a block to convincing myself that I’m safe. Have you worked with people in this situation before? Thanks, your videos have really helped me recently.

Hey Dan Thanks for all the work you are doing with TMS/PDP! I have a challenge for you as a new person to this concept. In 15 minutes how would you describe TMS to someone who knows nothing about it and believes their pain is physical? Although I understood the concepts immediately I am having a hard time articulating it to others. Perhaps this can be a challenge you take on in an upcoming daily dose of wisdom? Thanks for everything!♥️

Dan...good morning. I have a question. I have been doing PRP Therapy with someone who studied under Alan Gordon. We know I have Central Sensitization, or whatever name you want to call it. I have learned Somatic tracking, but it appears the therapist thinks this is it....Somatic Tracking. She doesn't know "how much more benefit I can get from this." I know I need to break this loop. I understand completely. This video is so on point. Amazing, actually.

Dan great video. Id like to ask you your thoughts on battle. For example when they say she/he lost the battle with cancer. Is there really a battle? Is the resistance the same as fighting the battle? I heard dr john sarno write about cancer and how much emotions have a huge part in it as well as stress also. Just wondering what you thibk of that. I know steve ozanich a TmS expert also said tms work has healed many symtoms incuding cancer for some people. Thanks.
@mkykta9140Ай бұрын
The word battle or fight both have a negative connotation. I think it makes the mind see it as struggle that might not be overcome. Neither words are helpful & probably should be avoided. Dr Joe Dispenza has had many CA cases reversed with mind body.

@@mkykta9140 On the other hand, I had cancer as a young woman, and I fought back with everything I could and the strength of my will and determination. Forty three years later I'm still here. You might perceive it one way, but others might have a different way of fighting back. Telling my brain I'm safe has never worked for meat any point, because I don't believe it!! I need to take action in a way that is meaningful for me.

There is a german actor who wrote: i loved my cancer, it belong to me and my body. He is still living. Had it 2 times. Every time I‘m hearing „i fight against it“ it brings me doubts if fighting is not to much stress

@mkykta9140Ай бұрын
Can you look at that problem or person acting as a third party looking in? Like detaching from them or the problem. Trying not to engage or take it personally (knowing that's what they what & you don't). Your best interest is not their best interest. Your peace is more important than theirs. Try not to get sucked into this unhealthy game. It's easier said than done. But with practice & time, it's helping me.
