When set up dual rate ( throws) ? Before or after wizard. Just for sample: In manual mode plane has 4mm ailerons throws, but in 2D mode ailerons moving over 10mm and control very sensitive, so how to reduce throws in 2D mode ?

Came across a problem today Lee with a flying wing with the vector system in it, the wing was using a frsky L9r receiver, the vector reported to many rx errors and went into RTH it came back great and flew in rth mode for 30 mins, as the taranis would not reconnect and eventually crash landed gently close by.

+UncleFesterUK there have been a few problems with long range systems. Disabling ‘glitch detection’ (see failsafe video) can help but that sounds like something more serious. I’d check any telemetry/log files..

LOL this happened just after it had taken off Lee, less than 100 meter away, log files next check :) checking connection to receiver, if i find out will pass the info over :)

+UncleFesterUK please do. Speaking to the Eagletree guys it does happen with some long range systems when they don’t operate as expected with their signals and timing. The support guys will always ask the pilot to try the unit without the LRS radio to troubleshoot. Firmware updates on the LRS system usually fixes it from what I’ve heard.. hope you get to the bottom of it..

Reading on a lot of forums, these have been a pain in the neck for long range.. I almost bought one, but after reading all the problems I went another direction. Still interested in them, but, they need to get them where they play nice with All long range systems.

Looking like the receiver has a problem, will get it changed out and get it tested again, logs talking of it browning out, and eventually the eagle tree gave up with it and would not allow a reconnect.

Hello, I think the idea of flying around my village with a long range pretty cool. But I can only find kits focused on racing and not flight time and range. I know how to build a drone but I don't know what parts are compatible. Now I kindly ask you if you could make me list with parts for a long range and long flight time, if you have time left. :) Range would be nice about 2-3 Kilometers (1.2-1,9 Miles)

+Nils Kurzi you’re looking at a model with 10” or larger props with low KV motors. Look at the t-motors website.. you need the higher efficiency setups for longer flight times. Be aware that in many countries flying beyond line of sight is illegal. Happy flying!

Hi, I can't manage to get into the OSD menu, I'v tried every compinations and it still doesn't display the menue? Do you have any tips to get into it ? ( I obviously red and followed your instructions and the manuals)

Having two mode switches (one mode and one submode) allows you to have two additional flight setting options. For myself I have the following on my Mode 3 position switch: Stabilization off, 2D and 2D+Submode. On my second 3 position switch the Submode switch I have Hold, Loiter and RTH Test. Lots more information on mode and submode can be found beginning on page 31 of the Vector Manual v3.6 Hope this helps.
