Mine ended up a seascape 😂, but I’m happy with it. I’ve been subscribed to your channel a while now and avidly watch everything you do. Two things I have learned from you that have been invaluable; 1, be fearless! The way you slap dark colours on the canvas without a care, then slap on a contrasting colour, which I always think is NEVER going to work but always does, has taught me not to be timid with colour or quantity. 2, don’t play around too much with it when it looks ok. So many times I’ve tweaked it until it’s “twoked”! Then I end up disappointed and wished I’d left it as it was. I’m not on any social media site so thank you for being so kind as to put your tutorials on KZbin.

I love abstract paintings and I've been painting abstract art for decades. I've never tried to sell any of my art but paintings I've actually done as gift's to friends they've actually sold my art to people who wanted it. The world doesn't know me but I know the world and maybe I should start showing the world my paintings. I signed all my paintings with my thumbprint that way no one can duplicate my thumbprint. Your watercolor art is amazing and you should do more abstract art with faces.

I used Cotman raw sienna, it is a lighter brand than most

Thanks! For this size and weight of paper I don’t pre-stretch, I just tape. It buckles a bit as I paint but flattens completely one it dries naturally. Any larger and I would pre-stretch
