Thank you very much David for your superb tuition on this. It's been a great inspiration to me and I`m determined to eventually get it "hopefully" somewhere near your standard, and I will do it ,even if takes me forever.Then if that happens I know I`m then worthy of being called an "Artist " rather than just a painter.

Hi Barbara. I have painted in oils, but not for many years. I have painted in acrylic with some success but these days, despite demonstrating still in acrylics, I am sticking more with watercolour Regards David

I did this on hot press first but want to repeat on cold press. I have trouble with masking fluid. What brand do you suggest.

Hi marika, I don't have a special brand. I tend to use either Daler Rowney or Winsor & Newton, both are good quality and work equally well. - Hope this helps ... David PS make sure the paper is 100% dry when you apply it and 100% dry when you rub it off.
