Really pretty design and colors! Gorgeous! Just been watching some of your older videos as I've only recently discovered your channel. I'm the same way. I should be putting together my spare bedroom, but instead I'm looking at all my fine line brushes to see if I can bend it and use it like yours. I'm a beginner and and struggling a little with choosing dot sizes to make sure they fit with where and what I'm doing.

It can be challenging, but you will progress so quickly with pracrice. Also make sure your paint is a water based acrylic or the dots do not form a good circle. Happy painting

Hi Miranda sadly this stencil is no longer available. Bit despite no real drawing experience I manged to more or less draw this free hand with the help of a small stencil. Can't wait to actually paint this. Waiting for some of the paints to arrive, I love this mandala . My inner flower petals are a little big buts that ok.

Miranda, I enjoyed watching this piece of art very much, very relaxing. I think one place where a different color will maybe better, that being the light aqua circle around the center petals. The way it is right now as soon as you look at the project that shows up a bit too much. May be a lightened color of the center petals would be less protrusion. Just a thought.............mc

I do not thin them with water.....the decoart paints are almost all perfect right out of the bottle.. If I need to I will thin down paint with a flowing medium. :)

I just used a matte black for this canvas. You can prep canvas with gesso if you want to have a base coat other than paint.

Yes I have. They have been coming out with a lot of paints. The ones in the tubes need to be thinned for dotting. I love their colors and the metallics. The pouring paints are thin enough to dot with. :) Their Prices seem pretty reasonable as well :)

Excellent question. I had only began trying the flat tools this year. Many people rave about them. I think it depends what you are most comfortable with and the general consistency of your paint. The flat bottom ones I feel are more temperamental with thicker paint and they are more of a challenge to see where you are painting
