I actually bought one of those a while back to try to rescue some 30yo Citadel paints. Mixed results with a Titillating Pink temporarily shelved the project. I’ll have to give it another go.

If the cost of replacing the paints is higher than the agitator it makes sense to revive the paints plus you then can just whiz them up prior to use and get a really good mix each time

I use a nail varnish shaker, which is basically the same process, but I have added a single Steel Ball bearing to each pot / bottle and I'm convinced that it makes a difference.

I have ball bearings in too, I agree I think they help plus you can give them a quick shake when before you open the pot in between squeezes

They are a useful addition, I have revived the white now with a little medium and a good blast on the thing

I think we all suffer from not getting round to things 🤪 I was put off by the cost when I first saw them, but they do mix the paints a lot better and with less fuss than creating a Heath Robinson affair with an electric carving knife - a lot safer too!

Its the same place but i am waiting … still … to have it repaired after flooding, Covid sort of put the repair on hold and the backlog of work means everything is late
