Another build series that I look forward to following. For those thinking of making something like this, don't overlook the relatively cheap/easily available 'grow room' filtering equipment. A properly sized sealed inline exhaust fan combined with a can-style activated charcoal filter can do the job without the need to exhaust anything outdoors. Works great for 3D resin printers as well.

Quick tip... you shouldn't move the router with the rotation of the bit, you should always move against it. Meaning that when you are routing the perimeter of an object, the router should be moved around counter-clockwise. It will prevent the router from running away from you potentially damaging the work piece.

When plunge cutting like that and puling the saw backwards. Please ALWAYS use both hands.. the rotation of the blade being pulled in the backward direction can cause the saw to jump up out of the cut if you dont have firm downward control of the saw.

Love the build. You didn't need to worry about the box fan. Those use an induction motor with no sparking brushes inside. However they aren't the best for this use anyway. They are meant to blow air around and lose power and flow when restricted even a little. The squirrel cage type is better not only for the motor being out of the air flow but also better suction and overall air flow. Right at the neighbors kitchen. 😂
@TheSmugglersRoom3 жыл бұрын
Thank you much! Yeah, I read and heard a lot of different things about the box fan, at the end of the day I really wanted the blower for safety, but mostly that it will be super efficient.
