Paint like Jasper Johns numbers in color - Template painting

The master of making a painting using numbers is Jasper Johns. I will paint like Jasper Johns numbers in color and use template painting, a simple technique with endless possibilities as I will show you. In this Jasper Johns art lesson I will paint my version of Jasper Johns 0 through 9 and other paintings by him. In my opinion he invites people to look differently at art, and especially art with mundane objects like numbers, look again. On my channel I go one step further and paint like Jasper Johns and invite the viewers to try it also. Looking at art by Pop art Jasper Johns can turn into a wonderful art lesson for kids. Enjoy.

In almost all my videos I use with Winsor&Newton Galeria acrylics, if not, I will say so in the video.
Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.
