Paint like Paul Klee Castle and Sun - Paul Klee art lesson

Playing with paint is just as important as making art. In my opinion Paul Klee kept his playful spirit while making art. It is like he played with the idea of abstract; one step further, one step back. In this Paul Klee art lesson I will paint like Paul Klee Castle and Sun, in my way because I also play around. So I will paint Castle and Sun but in a more abstract way resembling other Paul Klee artworks. Paul Klee Castles come also in more varieties so one extra from me looked acceptable.

Materials
The art materials I use in the videos are not sponsored.
I prefer to work on multi-purpose paper, more info in this video: • How to choose the RIGH...
In almost all my videos I use with Winsor&Newton Galeria acrylics, if not, I will say so in the video.
Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.

Gister heb ik deze oefening op canvas gedaan (met al de blokjes) En alleen blauw, rood, geel, wit en zwart gebruikt om te mengen. Ik dacht dat doen we even.... Maar het viel tegen, langer dan 2 uur bezig geweest, het mengen van de kleuren....soms werd het bijna modder, omdat ik steeds probeerde een andere kleur te mengen. En zo liep ik tegen meer dingen aan. Te lang verhaal om op te schrijven hier....Toen het af was, was ik niet helemaal tevreden, en ben met een acrylstift wat huisjes-vormen gaan tekenen. Jammer dat je hier geen voorbeeld kunt laten zien! Nogmaals bedankt.....voor de inspiratie!

Hallo Ellen, wow, zelfs de papagaai is geboeid! Het schilderij met de kleine vlakjes duurde ongeveer 2 uur. Maar ik had er al eentje daarvoor gemaakt waar ik niet tevreden over was... soms maak ik het mezelf wat moeilijk. Maar het is ook rustgevend om te doen, lekker muziekje erbij. Ik vermaak me wel.
