Wolf here's a tip. To kill the crystal monsters easily you gotta hit them in the legs. Swords and knives are the best way to kill them since cutting off one leg will instantly kill it.

this is such a good roguelike, and to be just an afterthought of a goofy fun game its amazing. yes play more. vanguard is the best simply because u can heal urself all the time. i made it much farther with that class than any other hit the crystal guys in the legs (you got that) and the special katanas are amazing. upgrade katana or find special ones

Also Wolf the chests with the skeletons have 2 sides to them one if a payment of gold the other is a payment of health. The gold side is nice because you don't lose health but the health side gives better stuff.

The crystals monsters can't be killed by hitting there crystal from what I know I guess it acts like a shell for protection your best bet is to go up to them and hit there legs
