Thank you so much for sharing yourself and your process. I've been watching water colorist videos for over two years and I've learned the most from this one. I'm a minimalist with pigments and you've helped me so much. I know you probably won't get this but I admire your mastery of a large brush. I won't attempt it but I do admire it. I will, however, work today with these three pigments. Well, except it will be Sennelier yellow as that's what I have. Thanks again Tim.

Hi tim, just like to say thanks for all the videos over the years. You definately inspired me to paint and recently i have taken to the brush. Having never painted for over 30 years of drawing (scared of colour and failure?) i am totally loving it, i'm already painting outdoors and have even managed to sell some (which has greatly helped towards supplies). You're the first demo's i started watching, and although i have seen many others (especially recently) i always come back. You talk in a soothing manner which compliments the education. Plus i love your expressive loose style. Its what i am certainly going for. I wonder where this adventure will take me? Watercolour is highly addictive.

Oh youtube won't let me edit my post to ask a question.... sorry... This is not a rhetorical question but a legitimate curiosity. There's a bit of bleed from the initial blue wash above the building. I'm curious why you left it instead of continuing the blue into a the sky a bit. Hope I asked that right. Again, I'm only curious. Thank you Tim.

Hey Wilmot, I love painting but i have a serious problem, I m a colorblind, as 10 percent of the population, and really I would like to paint watercolor as pro, My limitation is hard to find blends and colours. So can u give me any tecnich to use watercolor with less colours or only one or two colours ? What do U think about watercolor wash ( one color ) I use very well the tones and intensity to paint with one color, but i dont know if have value as artwork or artpiece. I think that is a giant challenge to teach painting for colorblinds, thanks U have a nice weekend
@TimWilmot6 жыл бұрын
Are you red/green colour blind? Why not use say an ultramarine blue and neutral tint?
@s.a.r.konning81646 жыл бұрын
Hey Tim thank u so much for ur response... Im a colorblind red green. , I paint watercolour but I have many limitations. I m using the colours seeing the packaging of the watercolors but when I must mix colours, that is my real difficult, unhapilly I m painting only with one color (watercolour wash ) , blue, or black or sepia. . sorry my english language , I dont understand about to use ultramarine or neutral tint. can U to do a tutorial to help to many coloblinds about these tips? really would be very useful,to thousands of colorblinds that would love painting.... thanks for all
@s.a.r.konning81646 жыл бұрын
also brown ... my difficult are the reds, greens browns, some turquoise ,
