Love the Vaseline tip of applying before removing nail polish. I'm definitely going to start doing that. Also, love Unicorn Magic, but have to give Witchcult Cuticle Butter a shout out. Just order from HHC, as I'm always on the hunt for cuticle care, as mine get dry and harden around the edges. Absolutely loved the application, so smooth & glided on. The container is ridiculously large...1 oz....not complaining, and love the feel (not greasy) & scent of this product. Winner, winner!!!

@@lisacormier36 I will have to try out Witchcule Cuticle Butter! Next HHC order I make and they have it I’ll add to cart. Mine get really hard too!

Aww! YAY! I love longer videos but I know not everyone does. I like to play them as I'm folding clothes or doing dishes too! Oh and same, I like to watch how people do their nails because it may give me pointers to do something different that will work better than what I have been doing before.

Spirit is my favorite base coat as well and I also use the elf brush for clean up. I had not thought to moisturize the bristles so thank you for that recommendation
@Gotaluvpolish21 күн бұрын
I'm glad you find that helpful! It really does make a difference in the long run. I mean, it's not meant to be used with acetone so it will still fray a lot quicker than regular brushes for clean up but I find that it helps.

Thanks for sharing your routine Carolina, I loved to watch this video. I definitely plan to pick-up one of these cuticle moisturizers when they next are available at PPU. I only have the stick which I use in winter at nighttime.

Yay! I am so glad. I felt, while editing, that I was just all over the place! I need to do a better job with that. Oh and yes! You have to make sure it's the white one, there's a yellow balm one that is like the stick but in the tub and it's good but I like the one in the video way better.

Hi Carolina, I enjoyed watching this video, it gave me some new product ideas and reminded me of products that I have forgotten about over the years! I am curious, how long does it take you to do your nails? With and without stamping. Thanks for sharing 😊

Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed and it helped in whatever way. 🥰 Honestly it depends on the manicure the magnetics, flakes and reflective glitter polishes tend to take me a little longer since I like to wait longer in between coats. Also, I am never not doing something else when I paint my nails (sometimes I'm editing a video in between coats, watching a show/movie, or listening to a podcast/audiobook) so sometimes that distracts me in between coats and it takes me longer to do my nails but if I were just to sit and do my nails without clean up.. I would say maybe 10-15 minutes... Maybe. You know I have never timed myself, especially because like I said I am usually doing things in between layers. For a creme or shimmer I usually just paint my nails and go to the other hand and paint that then go back to the first hand real quick. It's the polishes that have a little bit more stuff to them that I like to wait a min or two if need be. Adding clean up, it takes me a bit longer but I don't do clean up every time I paint my nails. I usually do the clean up maybe once a week or twice a week and I pain my nails generally every 2-3 days.

Love this kind of video… get lots of ideas😁 great idea Vaseline before removing polish👍🏻 Going to look for one of those nail brushes, I’m that women that still uses those tiny nail brushes😂 and you have just shown me to use coloured base coats… who knew🤷♀️😆 I use the elf concealer brush for cleanup works so well…great nail colour… thank you💅🏻💕

Yay! I am so glad that you enjoyed it. Yeah, I can't with those tiny nail brushes... I mean I can but it's more work for me. 😅 The different base coats really helps, especially if you're like me and don't want to wear a base polish. I don't know why I'm so against that sometimes but I get a , as they say, hair up my butt that makes me NOT want to find a matching base polish and just use the colored base coats to help me out. Though because I don't always love sheer you can still see some sheerness with the colored base coats... if that's a deal breaker for you.

Love it. We have similar products & techniques. Colores de Carol is my favorite smoothing top coat. I have a few of the others and I found depending on polish it doesn't work so well at smoothing, like the leveler does.

This is the first time I’ve heard of an acetone anecdote! Is it just oil or something else entirely? It sounds really helpful!

Also 26:05 yesss I can definitely see a difference! Three coats gives it more dimension and deepness, if that makes sense, and two coats is pretty just it’s a little bit dull compared to 3. Beautiful shade

Acetone Antidote is the name of the Baroness X one but other brands have the same thing under different names. Acetone additive is a moisturizing concoction of glycerin, oils, and scents that soothe and protects the skin from the super drying effect that pure acetone does to our skin. There are a couple of other brands that have some for sale right now. I'll send you links. Also the bottle I showed in the video is actually a smaller version, they come in bigger bottle now, but I like that small bottle because it's the exact amount I need for my 8oz acetone bottle. I just pour the bigger bottle into the smaller bottle to help me "measure"
