Artist Bio: The members of Painted Fiction call the woodlands of Northern New Jersey home and their sound seems to befit just that. A hybrid of acoustic and electric guitars sprawl out across their debut EP, 'Dusk', leaning on the acoustic more often than not.
The stories in their songs almost feel like inside conversations around a campfire-yet a raging one at times.
Painted Fiction’s style arrives more or less as acoustic rock with influences spanning the 90s alt-rock spectrum. A powerful vocal delivery is the guide for bold, albeit non-overbearing drums alongside a buzzing, proficient bass guitar weaving through acoustic guitars around lightly flourishing instrumentation. 'Dusk' EP out on Feb. 23, 2024.
