I'm am using all 3M products. First stage using 3M 36060 rubbing compound with 3M 05711 compound Pad. I was taught to do the first stage twice. Sometimes I would do it 3 times. 2nd stage use the same rubbing compound (3M 36060) with 3M 05723 Foam Compound Pad. Last stage use 3M 05996 Machine Polish with 3M 05725 Foam Polishing Pad. I used a Dewalt polisher set at 1200rpm.

What is your thoughts on diamond clear
@torqued760110 ай бұрын
I've never used Diamond Clear. I've heard good and bad. I always feel that if I'm putting that many hours in a paint, I want something good as a clear. If you decide to use it, definitely do a test panel to see how it sprays.

How long do you wait before you cut and buff?
@torqued76013 жыл бұрын
I believe I waited at least 3 days. I've been told you can do it sooner and then it's easier to sand.

Where is the mounting on the rotisserie part DA...WTF
@torqued76013 ай бұрын
@joshuah40 Sorry, I never thought to include that. I used a 2 post lift to pull the body off the frame. It was easy to roll the rotisserie underneath.

What's the round about cost of painting a car on the rotisserie?
@torqued76012 жыл бұрын
Just a gallon of paint and reducer cost $700. This was Lesonal brand. 2 gallons and the rest of materials will easily go over 2k-3k. That's a lot better than paying 20k at a body shop.

@@torqued7601 I'm have to pay 20k I don't have an rotisserie 😔
