Thanks Serena, from the UK. I found your videos by accident when I was salvaging an old pine table and needed some advice about sanding...and went to KZbin. There's a programme on the BBC called "Money for Nothing" which shows how to do some fantastic things with bits of junk. I'm a single parent although my daughter is grown up now- so I've always done my own painting / decorating etc. I wish your channel was available thirty years ago. Best wishes.

You guys have all the best shows on the BBC! There was one I heard about in the UK that souds similar. Is that the one where she gets people's stuff as they're dropping it off at the dump/recycling lot and then she goes back to their house and gives them the money after she's fixed it up and sold it? That show is awesome! I was watching some of the episodes on KZbin!

Yep, that's the one. They do some fantastic stuff and have great ideas. Though some of them you wouldn't be able to do at home. Bloody brilliant.

I'm doing an AC/pool filter cover made from fence boards. I really want to put the fence scrap to use and build some planter boxes that will go up the fence kind of like this. I was going to just screw them in but this french cleat idea looks wayyyyy better! Thank you!

I actually did something very similar to this and the fence was absolutely disgusting until I cleaned it up. Great idea! I always have a blue thumb when I do things like this lol. :)
