Thanks Serena, from the UK. I found your videos by accident when I was salvaging an old pine table and needed some advice about sanding...and went to KZbin. There's a programme on the BBC called "Money for Nothing" which shows how to do some fantastic things with bits of junk. I'm a single parent although my daughter is grown up now- so I've always done my own painting / decorating etc. I wish your channel was available thirty years ago. Best wishes.

You guys have all the best shows on the BBC! There was one I heard about in the UK that souds similar. Is that the one where she gets people's stuff as they're dropping it off at the dump/recycling lot and then she goes back to their house and gives them the money after she's fixed it up and sold it? That show is awesome! I was watching some of the episodes on KZbin!
@richardwilson12347 жыл бұрын
Yep, that's the one. They do some fantastic stuff and have great ideas. Though some of them you wouldn't be able to do at home. Bloody brilliant.

love your videos! they're always so encouraging and uplifting. most of these channels show tutorials with an insane amount of required tools and expensive lumber, but your videos are for real people that have a budget with their home improvement projects. i've been binge watching your videos since i found you a few days ago! keep it up!!

I'm doing an AC/pool filter cover made from fence boards. I really want to put the fence scrap to use and build some planter boxes that will go up the fence kind of like this. I was going to just screw them in but this french cleat idea looks wayyyyy better! Thank you!

this is great and I am using it today - especially your French cleats idea = which brings me to my question: I know I can just guess and be fine, but what length did YOU use for your French cleats length - I don't see that mentioned anywhere - keep it up! You're terrific! ~Dwight

I am so love with your garden projects (I have gray thumb..lol can get it to grow but never long enough to produce). Do you have any that don't require the use of power tools? I don't have access to any and I'm not sure to how do any of these projects without them.
