Looks fantastic. Whenever I try to paint like this my minis tend to just look like tinted grey so I've kinda given up on this exact method. I've had some good results using multiple thinned layers of speed paint over a light prime colour though

Did you add the xpress medium to every paint color to achieve the paint consistency you used in this video? About what ratio was used? Thank you very much for the content. Very helpful. The water effects video is my all time favorite.

I literally just started painting the Embergard models today, to get them ready for my school club on Friday. I had the same change of heart on pro acryl as a range in general. It’s way too matte for me and while I know people like that, I don’t like how they interact with other ranges. I’d consider myself still a beginner painter and I prefer when my paints behave more similarly. My personal favorite pure white currently is from Game Color

I don't know if you remember me... I "defended" you when some asshole was unfollowing you because "you were Jew". I said that we follow the artist, no matter race, religion or ideology, and you liked it. I told you that I wanted to start painting, but never seem to be able to find the time... I've started!!! Finally!!! Man, it's difficult... I've started priming with a white spray can and the miniature ended with some nasty bubbles and threads... I think it's because I sprayed too far away (about 40 cms), and the particles dryed during its way to the mini. I will try from 20, always had good results with my old black priminh spray can. Also, I've bought a hand mini drill to wide the holes of the mini before assembling, the pegs just don't fit. I also have another advise... no matter how willing you are to see your favourite mini finished... but be patient!!! Practise with your non favourite ones before (I am practising with my old early XXth Century Altaya Edition Warhammer Minis, do you remember it?) attempting to ruin (even more) my Age of Sigmar Arcane Knight. Thanks for the inspiration and lessons!!!
@JuanHidalgoMiniatures12 күн бұрын
NICE! Welcome to the community! White spray is HARD to apply well and yeah 40 cm is way too much. 15-20 MAX and quick short bursts. Also don't obsess too much on covering everything, just a dusting is enough.
@juanignacioayalarico941012 күн бұрын
@JuanHidalgoMiniatures thanks for the input! This seems to be a nice community where everybody is happy to help. Anyway, as said, I am learning, and learned in the bad way that can is difficult. I will go to get a primer for aerobrush as soon as my local shop opens.
