OK, at this end stage of your build, i have to say sir, this is one awesome achievement...not just getting a professional finish with aerosol cans... but to rip apart an entire Ultra and rebuild it all again is beyond most people... So the finest congratulations my friend, a professional job well done, and a bike to be proud of.. (and a damn love that crazy colour too)... Ride safe and keep in touch brother... Del.

Wow! I have a greater appreciation for the amount of work that goes into repainting one of these HOGS now. Thanks for taking the time to record this extremely long and tedious process.

Would have been less work of I had access to a spray booth and spray equipment. However it is a ton of manual labor as you see. Daniel thank you for taking the time to comment and watch. God bless

Wow Josh thanks very much for the comment. Every where I go people tend to stop me and ask about the color. Was a lot of work but I am very happy with the turn out.

Awesome job!! Couple questions. What rattle can paint did you use. And about how many cans of 2k clear did you use?
@TechnMoto3 жыл бұрын
Man been a long time. I can’t remember the brand now. I know it was neon green. I want to say I used about 6 cans of 2k. I think I may have put the info in the description- maybe. Sorry I can’t remember now. If you go to a quality paint shop they can do any color and put it in a spray can. Just a thought
@bigwu1003 жыл бұрын
Man that's a lot of green. But killer job.

😂 believe it or not I get a lot of compliments on that color. More so from the ladies. This color I guess is not for everyone 😆 Take care.

How has the paint job held up over time? Any problems with relation to gasoline. Or any flaking or fracking in the clear? I’m considering doing this myself
@TechnMoto3 жыл бұрын
So far it has held up pretty well. Just over three years now. Keep in mind it is not a factory paint job. Although I’m considering changing it up again 😆
@mattfreni77143 жыл бұрын
Thanks I’m considering doing it to my Road King. Is there a video where you listed all the products. Thanks again it looks great
@TechnMoto3 жыл бұрын
No. Any good paint shop dealer can help you out with questions on paint. Have fun with the project.

Did you put clear coat after paint coat every time after sanding ? I’m trying to get a very glossy look too and wanted to know because I don’t think paint coat itself will look shiny
@TechnMoto2 жыл бұрын
On this project I did three coats of clear and then buffed the final coat.
