hi there!! not sure if you’ll see this but what did you use to draw the design? just a white colored pencil? i know there are ones like that for drawing designs on dark fabric for embroidery too. ill be using it on a brown bag. thanks so much in advance!

Hello there! Tbh, I just used white Crayola 😅 since it will be easily covered later on with acrylic paints.

Hi! There is a protective coat called “finisher” You can buy this from a brand called “angelus” hope that helps. I use it too and I love it. You may also want to buy a “leather preparer” for prepping your leather surface. This will make your bag painting more durable! Good luck!

I painted a faux leather bag myself for the first time and it has been 48 hours and it still feels sticky and not dry. I used acrylics. What do I do? Please help. 😭

I also find it feeling sticky when I paint on faux leather bag using my Angelus leather paint. But after using the bag for a long time, it will eventually feel less sticky. If wont feel stick if I paint on a real leather though. I found that when I paint on faux learher bags, it is best to use a regular actylic paint. It will dry normally without any stickiness.
