I do not talk, I just paint. One was easy for me, one gave me some challenge. I did not like the painting until I calmed down the chaos. Sometimes you just need to step back and look at the painting to determine what the painting is asking for.

Thank you David for your comment and support. I have several that I show the painting from start to finish, I attached the links below. One thing that is harder for my style of art is many times the paintings take days and LAYERS to paint and to capture this in a video is a bit harder. I will try to do some. I do my own marketing, Social Media, editing myself and tend to work 16 hours a day still but REALLY want to put helpful videos out there for people like you. I've enjoyed each and every video of yours (that I've had time to watch so far). Viewers sure have an opportunity here to get their questions answered and any help or encouragement they want or need. You have made that clear (and I know for a fact) you respond and give great advice and help. Since you asked about ideas on your videos, I am wondering about the angle of your camera. I think I would rather watch you paint, looking over your shoulder; not sideways. This is just my preference, but hey, who am I? It's your show and you do a fantastic job! Thank you.

Thank you allie!!! I do appreciate feedback. I did change the cameras to overhead in my most recent videos. You Tube pays almost nothing, in fact after two years of putting out videos I have made $100!! Not complaining, but I have to use what I have right now! I dream of the day I can have a helper be the the studio to film me!!! For better angles, better equipment etc. But I say all that to say, I think the newer videos, overhead angle is better!! (If I keep my head out of the way!)

What liquids are you using at the start of your project. What kind of paper are you using? You could explain more of what you are doing. Your pictures are very interesting.

The paper is watercolor paper (Strathmore 400 Artist Watercolor Paper, 140 lb, 22 x 30 Inches), in this video and in almost all of my paintings I use Golden's High Flow Titanium White. SO the tall bottle is Titanium White high flow. The jars are also Golden, Titan buff and Titanium White. Some of my videos are just me painting with music and this is one of them, little talking. I do try to mention in the description and in my intro if I just paint with no explanation or if I do talk, this one is just painting. There are some that just want painting with me not talking through the entire painting process, so I try to mix it up. I do use also use Canson Watercolor paper a lot as I use them for acrylic paintings. I hope this helps, please let me know if I need to explain further! Again, thank you for watching.

Thank you for sharing your process, Cheryl. I see that you sell works on canvas and on paper. Do you sell more of either one of those? Do you roll your paintings on paper to ship them in a tube? I have a small home and studio, and I am wondering about painting on paper.

I worked for several years on canvas only and once I started on paper, I found I enjoyed it. I sell equally. If I sell only a paper piece, I roll in a tube. If someone asked for a mat, I charge more and the wrapping is more intensive. I have had the mailing service really crush my works so I have to really put the mat and the paper artwork between hard surfaces. SOOOO, it is much safer to encourage shipping in a tube and helping the collector take it to a framer on the other end. I even have overseas galleries ask for the paintings to be shipped in a tube OFF the frame if it is larger as it is much safer and the other end has it re stretched.

Judy, I use Golden paints. i always use a combination of Heavy Body, Medium and the high flow. I incorporate other brands for color, but I mix a lot of my own. In this painting, I used the Lyra Graphite pencils, regular pencils, Quin Gold Golden paints and of course titanium white. I use both the heavy body and the high flow, which I put in a larger bottle as I use so much of that product. Does that help or do you need more.
