Hey Ryan, can you do a video on mixing paint to get certain colours? Like, how to get purple or orange, because whenever i mix red or blue to get purple, i get this ugly poop brown, and whenever i try to mix red and yellow to get orange, i get this mustard type of colour. Thanks!

Hi love your fluid style. My paint won't mix or spread well. I have added water. maybe cheap canvas orpaper?

I would definitely stick with canvas versus paper, I myself have issues blending on paper. I personally use Liquitex BASICS acrylic paints and canvas board from the Dollar Store. Hope this helps!

Hi!! I have a question and I hope it's not a stupid one, lol. The old square headed brush that you use for the trees, are the bristles made of synthetic or hog? I guess I'm trying to say, do I use a talkon, nylon or hog bristle? Thank you for being so generous with your time and skills!!

All of the brushes that I use are synthetic. I would recommend getting a fairly hard bristled brush though, it should render greater results :)

What kind of marker did you use for drawing the trees? I want to make sure I don't use one that will smear and can be painted over

I used a fine tipped Sharpie marker. They are fantastic because they don't bleed/blend/mix like most other drawing mediums. However, they can show through the back of canvas. I'm able to use them here because I'm using a canvas board and it doesn't show through. Just something to consider!

I really don't like working with acrylics on paper. I use a good amount of water and the paper rarely maintains it's form. However, some do really like it and find different balances. It's all personal preference. I say give it a try and if it doesn't work try again on canvas/canvas board :)
