Painting Clay Frogs - No talking, just chill painting with some chill music

Hello loves, this was a highly requested version of my videos. I thought whilst I am getting set up to restart the series I would try out an edit without talking to see if this highly requested video is something I should also do! I know so many of you like my talking and I promise they won't be going anywhere, rather I am trying something new to see how it goes and maybe reach more pottery loving pals. On that note, I hope you enjoy it and I have a very fun and exciting (talking) video out next Friday that I am nervous/excited/ happy to be posting so I will see you all there ❤

Just looking at your earthy toned frog gave me an idea - is there any way you could work with some First Nations artists to paint some of your bisque pieces for NAIDOC week? I figure since it's only February, making the suggestion now might give you time.

I do too! This is more to appeal to a lot of people who requested this for background play whilst they create! The talking is not going anywhere and will be back to normal next week (kind of 😏)

My mom had a frog like this in the 60’s and 70’s, when I got married in ‘85 I got my own frog for the dish scrubby I wonder what happened to them. Everything old is now again, and things come back in fashion. I love how you painted them!

These look so pretty, the white base one with the blue looks especially striking. I wonder how they'd look if you'd cut them half vertically and "stick them" to plain wall tiles making it more 3D, maybe with some cute fly or lily pads accompanying the froggies, imagine this as a bathroom wall accent line of sorts 🤔

I love pottery but here in the States it is getting harder and harder to find raw pottery to paint myself. They sale this cheapo version of it in the stores but there are somethings that just shouldn't come from big box stores. Thank you for sharing this with the world. I was just curious...did you bisque fired the frogs before painting them up? Or did you paint them on the greenware? I was wondering, because I've painted underglazes on the greenware before, but I was thinking on ordering some pre-bisqued dinnerware, and then seeing if I can paint designs on them, and glaze and fire them so they're food safe, and if that's something I can do... >.>
