What motivates me to paint is the feeling that I have accomplished something. Joni, I have recently found your tutorials (as you know from my many questions 😊) but I have never been drawn to something like painting before. My life hasn’t always been easy, and my job as a psychiatric nurse was challenging, and now I am so excited to find something that gives me so much pleasure. Thank you so much ☺️

Yes, what you do is meaningful! I've been sick going on 5 days now....I'm a Mom and not supposed to get sick! At any rate, I have not felt like painting until your video popped up. It's apparently meant to be as my husband asked me to do a black and white for him and to then go back and add a bit of the Holbein neon colors he got me. Today is our 34th wedding anniversary, and I do believe this will be my ticket! Thank you once again for the inspiration to go forward!! D

Tranquil Harmony This is what draws my mind to this beautiful painting! Just sheer peace and tranquility… no one rushing about. Walking along the jetty and looking across to the mountains. Just so much feeling painted onto this canvas. Totally exquisite! 💕

I'm a year late coming into the "name the painting" but Paradise Cove is what popped into my mind! This is just so beautiful Joni, I love how easy going you are which makes you such a great instructor and you really, really take the pressure off. I've recently been accused as a perfectionist and after really giving it some thought, there is some truth I'm that. I am too regimented with my approach to life and you've given me an outlet that doesn't have to be perfect. Mistakes are just another path you can take to make something beautiful.
