Sir what do you ise to make your oil paints thinner? Mine is thick as toothpaste or worse. I definitely cant do this with mine as they are

Scoot, you can use a small amount of linseed oil to thin paint that is way to thick. I often will use linseed oil mixed with "system cobalt dryer" from Natural Pigments and apply a thin coat to the surface of the painting before beginning to work. Be careful not to dilute your paint too much as it will de-saturate your color. In general, it is best to leave your paint alone unless it is completely unworkable or you are trying to achieve a specific effect with a medium. Thanks for stopping by...
