For anyone wondering, the paint on the flares has held up fine over the years. Still looks as good as the day I painted them. I will admit my Jeep is parked in a garage and is rarely driven (maybe 1,500 miles/yr).

why did you buy a spray gun when you used the spray can in the first place ?

I didn't buy the spray gun specifically for this job, I bought it for another job. I used it for the flares to spray automotive grade paint on the flares. The spray can was just adhesion promoter.

Are you a civil engineer and are those waterline/sewer plans?

I'm not an engineer but they are civil utility plans. Good eye. 🙂

nice vid, how did they hold up ?
@thingsido29247 жыл бұрын
well they've only been on the Jeep for a few weeks and I've only driven it a couple of times since so I'll have to post a follow up at a later date.

How do they look now? Can you link to the paints you used?

Do they still look good? I'm just thinking about using a spray can paint. Maybe the liner bed in a can. Something? Thanks
