This is so neat. Very creepy and the person who displays zombie art in thier kitchen or anywhere for others to see thier fandom in thier home is cool in my book. Commissions are where you know you made it as an artist when someone likes your art so much they will pay for it. I'm curious to know what your process was between the client like how many sketches before deciding on this one? tenhundred shared his process with commissions too. Its helpful for other artists starting out with commissionwork to see how professionals artists do it and any tips they have or lessons

So we exchanged a few messages where she explained what she wanted ( again, she was very open-ended... Just wanted food related art in my style.) I was trying to get more out of her (color requests, favorite foods) but she really didn't give me any more direction. I drew the first two sketches, the zombie mouth and burger and the zombie hand and pizza and she said she liked them both, because she worked in the dental field and her favorite food was pizza. So I decided I needed the mouth since she'd appreciate the teeth, but instead of the burger, do pizza since it was her favorite. That's when I did that final sketch, she approved it and I got to painting. We used paypal to handle the payment, and yeah... that was it.

I googled it and came across two, so not sure which you were referring to, but I loved both! One was literally a coffin shaped cake pan, the other was like a cupcake pan, with six little coffin shaped cups. So cool!
