Today we paint the new loft and ramp! This really cleaned up the look and will also protect the wood for years to come. Let me know what you think!

You should do a cable railing on the top of the loft. It will add some safety security, it's contemporary/industrial looking and won't hurt your visibility as much as traditional wood railing. Plus its cheap and easy to install. You can get cast iron pipe rail fittings at major big box stores or through outlets like Amazon.

Check the posts with water. When you spray some on, if it beads on top they need more time. If it absorbs in, you can paint.

You should add some led light strips to the under side of the loft to turn it red blue green white what ever color to one brighten it up under it and then maybe put strips on the edge of the ramps to give it more pop against that white wall

How much square footage is the ramp itself? We are buying a new property and I'm going to have a pole barn installed that will function as a garage, work space, and also an indoor ramp area. Currently, I'm looking at a 30'x50' if possible and would reserve 30'x30' for ramps.

Turn the back wall of the ramp into a vert section. Then you can go straight into the garage and up the wall before transitioning into the main ramp!
