Painting my Volvo 340 engine before assembly

Awesome job as usual...your video's are getting better every time...one quick tip when spraying paint let the cans sit in hot water for a few minutes befor you spray it makes them spray alot better especially with clear coat..have a wonderful day..

Very good Joy!! Just a friendly advice because i like to work bare hand my self( i get better feedback on things). When you have to do with that much oil,grease and other liquids put some latex gloves on so that less substance soack into your skin. You never know what they bring on long term!! 🙂😉✌

I'm wondering, on that rocker cover, maybe paint stripper might have saved you some time? nice finish from the rattle cans, that engine is gonna look factory fresh when your done with it. Get some oil inside the piston bores , you could get pitting if it's dry and open too long 👍

That engine is a Renault engine, most 300-series Volvos came with them. Only the biggest engine option was a Redblock.

So satisfying seeing clean shit after you've seen it dirty. Don't wanna sound like a dad, but please use a mask when sanding too. You can buy a temporary mask for painting at Hornbach. Any mask is better than none.

This should be mandatory as a school subject. By the way, do not expose your bare skin and hands for spray paint and solvents, some of them is wery agessive and makes you grow a third leg.
