This art is so inspiring! I had no idea you could do that much on an iPad without Photoshop. It is absolutely beautiful. What is most incredible to me is how I can't make sense of what you are doing in the beginning of the drawing, when then suddenly shapes we know start appearing.

Great choice of music, love it and what a terrific painting. I am very much the beginner but would love to be able to do something like this. Did you use perspective guide in the beginning? What were you doing with the reflections on the windows? You painted the one figure then reduced the height, was that tied to the perspective guide? Thanks very much for sharing

Thanks! I roughly imagined what I wanted to draw. In the beginning, I drew some perspective lines by hand. I did the reflection in the windows using layers by closing the alpha channel.

Hey! I like this a lot. You have a good eye for detail. I wonder how your digital work would be for an old barn or maybe a shipyard. Did you work from a photo reference? How many hours did it take.

Thanks! I realy like working without any reference to paint some random places from imaginery. But sometimes - when you need to draw the real object you need to use some ref. For example car.

IIya, I am glad you responded. As I watched, I kept wishing I could see, "how did he do that, what function did that, etc.?" So, a great training video would be video of your working the app. Maybe a time laps of the brush strokes then slow down to share app function changes. If not, then I still enjoy watching the whole process anyways. I use ArtRage mostly. But I would use Procreate otherwise. Thanks again for responding and keep it up.

That was amazing. I can draw or paint nearly realistically of I'm looking at a photo. I'm having a hard time painting like you are in this photo. It'd be great if you narrated this piece as it developed. Turn it into a tutorial of sorts. :)

I just paint some rectangles shapes - then use alpha lock to add texture. After you can duplicate it and transform

This is not step by step. I have no clue what brushes you are using, size, saturation, layers etc. This is just a speed painting that unless you already know what you are doing is useless for some of us to try and paint...because it's not step by step.
