Hi my dear, it´s just as if you had read my mind - I must admit, I was beginning to be sort of curious about what you might have been up to . And that is really a lot! 🤩 I like the shapes and colors of your pieces and fell in love with your blue three- finger- hand- painting. It spoke to me right away, because the forms are so clear and it invites to look at all its parts in a very relaxed way. Well done! Hi Britta, thank you so much!! I must admit that is my favourite too. I’ve been neglecting YT, but some things are harder to film and I don’t like doing something for the sake of it!!! Hope you’re good, it’s raining and cold here again. Summer has arrived 🙄😂🥰🥰🥰

@quirkyqueens i have been taking a break from pretty much all social media for the past month or 6 weeks, so don't look too hard. I'll be getting back in the saddle next month and seeing what I think of the work I have done in that interval...2 big shows upcoming in August. Good luck at yours

Thanks Machteld!!!! Day is made!!!!!! I’ve recently discovered this through finding Asger John. I’d love a book about it, but they’re so expensive. I’m really pleased to hear this as I like this type of abstract art the most. I’m also very into Gillian Ayers work, her books are also expensive. I need cheaper tastes!!! 🤣❤️🦋

As an artist you have to do what an artist has to do: create. And you created alot! I love those pencil sketches in your little red sketchbook. When you go with the flow there is so much good stuff coming out of you, Kirsten. But - and I am saying this out of experience - trust your own impulse, don't mind others opinions about your art wether they are good or bad. It was a pleasure to hear from you again (although your sweet scottish accent is sometimes a bit hard to understand 😉). Mara

Hi Mara, I love those little sketches too!!!!! It’s much more enjoyable doing it my way. And thank you, I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries about artists recently and being true to yourself is a big factor. I’m pretty sure half the people who watch my videos do so for the weird subtitle translation!!! Are you on IG at all? 😁

@kokoslores9666 I’m the same. I put everything into YT as it’s long form so like a timeline of progress and actual connection. Other sites are just a brief moment, like a book cover. YT more like reading the book (not this clever Mara, actually watching a video about book arts at bainbridge island museum 😂).

@@quirkyqueens Yes, I agree. I certainly do like YT alot because it provides quick access to numerous themes. On the Banijay Home and Garden channel for example you'll find the art documentary "portrait artist of the year" from Battersea Arts Centre. Very interesting, no matter what kind of art you like. Watching other artists helps to find your own style. But most of all your feelings of joy and effortlessness are leading the way. 👩🏼‍🎨🎨💞
