Your cottage is going to be beautiful, great pick for that Ho Ho green, which will set off all the wood, the copper, and the blue Spode perfectly. I don't usually comment, because you always get so many, that I figure mine will get lost in the sea of posts, but this time I'm compelled. I live in the States, and we are also installing wall panels (here we call them drywall). Ours seem to be the same as yours. Paper with crushed gypsum inside. We cut them the same way, but where we differ is that we always screw them into wood frames (studs, furring strips) with drywall screws. Then we mud them, (seal the seams) like you did, but with a paper or mesh tape to keep the seams from cracking. I'd love to know what you used to stick the panels onto the stone walls. I've never seen the application of "plaster board" the way it is done France. In the US we call it "dry wall" or generic brand name of Sheetrock and we screw it to stud walls. There are not a lot of rock walls here. I'm enjoying learning how you apply it.

The woodwork is amazing and the detailing whilst a long wait will make all the difference.
