+DaZeD Merlin There are no air pockets. The paint bonds to the surface. The water will dry and you are left with the paint in the shape of the water droplet. Awesome effect. A friend airbrushed a similar design on one of my bikes. Black base, with yellow water drops. Got the water to run down the tank so the yellow ended up looking like it was running down the tank.

Unfortunately, our planet is doomed because there are obviously very few parents teaching their children manners these days. I'm absolutely disgusted with the amount of negative comments this video got. This man was only trying to give useful tips to people interested in this art. If you don't like it, watch another video. Do any of you remember the phrase, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all"? Everyone these days thinks it's okay to tear other people down "just because", but the second someone tears you down, you get offended. It's very disturbing. Sir, I don't know you and I am not an artist, but I appreciate your willingness to be helpful and teach others what you know. On behalf of all decent people, I apologize for those that know no better. Have a great weekend! And for anyone who is going to sink any lower than you already did when making your initial rude comment; grow up and have some class.

I just had a tiny bit of my faith in humanity restored by you, I came here to do this for a guitar and was absolutely disgusted by the amount of negativity. Maybe green just isn't quite the right colour, after all he did say that you can experiment with different colours. Kids need to learn some manners or once they're in the real world they're gonna learn their place the hard way.

Ha... Thanks Nikki. It's just youtube. It's kinda like the wild west of public access tv. The more comments, negative or positive is usually a good sign you're doing something right. I''ve talked to other youtubers and we kinda wear those terrible comments like a badge of honor. The more you get the more popular you're becoming. So don't sweat it. It doesn' bother me a bit. Besides they're usually pretty funny. Thanks for the kind words... Your awesome.

Therealme while I do agree with what you said, I almost laughed at the "have some class" part. I'm pretty sure class is almost non-existent these days. And in my opinion most of the people that appear to have class are just faking it for some reason or another. Not saying that about everyone, just that it is rare to find most of the time.

please just do a slow panning shot on the final reveal. that is the climax. different zooms and angles is ok. but a slow shot so we can see the detailed results. always good to take a still at the very end and leave it as a "final image" for several seconds as u close out the vid. -- I give u this advice bc I was frustrated that I didn't really get to see the final product with all the crazy editing at warp speed. +Gridfull Yes, always. Okay, so they made it easier to mod games on a console, until a console does everything a regular computer does, it's still just a crappy console. Your pc gets outdated, you get new parts and upgrade it. Your console gets outdated, you have to fork over $1000 for the latest console. Your console stops working, you have to fork over another $1000 for the latest console, your PC stops working, you replace a part for under $100 or buy a brand new one for around $400.
@tylerneal77749 жыл бұрын
+lepayen consoles cost $1000? and you can but a gaming pc for $400? sorry I think you have that backwards
@lepayen9 жыл бұрын
No, I have it quite correct. You can buy a core i5 computer tower brand new at The Source in Halifax for under $400 with 6 to 8 gb of ram in it, then you can get a 2gb graphics card on ebay for $20 to $50 which would make it a really decent and fast gaming computer. Hell, my computer is nearly as fast as them and I only have a dual core with 5gb of ram and a 1gb graphics card. Every console when it first comes out costs $800 to $1000 or more. If you don't believe that, you haven't been going around when the consoles come out. It doesn't take much to turn a $300 to $400 computer into a super fast gaming rig.
@tylerneal77749 жыл бұрын
lepayen I have never seen a console over $500 and I do alot of gaming on Console and pc and to have a have way decent gaming pc you spend no less then $800 I think you haven't been around to buy consoles, and yeah a shitty pc can play some games. So sounds like you need to look around. Have a good day
@lepayen9 жыл бұрын
My shitty computer can play every game out there as it is. If I want to run the latest games with the graphics maxed, I just need a better graphics card. If you haven't seen a console under $500 then you haven't been shopping when they come out. After a year or 2 the price drops to around 500. Sounds like you're just an idiot.

Is the 2nd color applied from the other angle while the water is still on there? You said let it dry but then added the yellow.

great trick :)how long would you need to let the water evaporate for and what would you use to make it quicker?
@Commandodesigns8 жыл бұрын
It doesn't take long. You can mix some rubbing alcohol with the water and it will evaporate faster.

First off. It turned out better than I imagined. What color did you use for the shadow? Just plain black? Is grey also an option? What's the secret to this effect? Does the paint simply sink down at the applied angle? So after painting both angles you just let the waterdropplets dry out?

I nailed it the first time out! I then made some modifications on the second one with some toothpicks. So cool. Made some jewelry with it.
