It's why I still prime in black or stick to much darker greys still. I like to keep the areas you can't see black and have the zenithal be the dark grey, or any grey, that way I'm just not concerned with hard to reach areas all the time.

Freehand is never simple... it's not as hard as something else but it's always a PITA.... still waiting for tartan out of the pot paint...
