As an answer to the question you made in the video: For me it's all right anything you do. I mean, I enjoy if there's something *new* to know a bit about the supplies in the case I want to get them or something. BUT. I also enjoy art with "storytime" or without talking and music only. What I think I'm trying to say is: If you're enjoying what you're doing (be it talking about the supplies/process or about something happening in your life that you want to talk about),, I'll be here to watch your videos.

Your idea regarding chatty videos with non related art is a good one. It is great to share a bit more about the subjects you love, being curious i'm always happy to learn new things. Additionnally, I love your style and having to watch you draw whatever you feel like is also important for you to do something you are passionate about :) Thank you for sharing your videos with us, always a pleasure to watch them!

I vote for this too. A little art a little about what you're doing outside art too. I like when you told us about what you do and stuff, it's such an unusual job, the crosswords stuff, maybe tell us about that (I think you have a new job now thou no?)

Yes I’d love art only videos! I love seeing artists make ‘guilty pleasure’ art that’s just kind of whatever they want to make without any specific purpose :)) and I love your commentary too, I would definitely listen to you talk about non-art subjects

I really love to know the story and inspiration behind every illustration. I'm not an artist myself but I do enjoy watching you making art, I don't know why but I do like it when u talk about how to use certain art supply or techniques. I'm also a highly sensitive person so hearing someone else with the same struggles as me talk about how they handle it would be very caming and helpful!
@AlexaFaie4 жыл бұрын
Highly sensitive person seems to be the hippy dippy term thrown out by people who don't know that women can be autistic too. Most people I've seen think they are "highly sensitive" turn out to later get diagnosed as autistic since a lot of autistic people are hypersensitive to lots of their senses and have hyperempathy too. Like the traits of both overlap pretty much 100%.

I really like your videos the way they are :3 it helps me a lot to choose art supplies. I love watching u draw as well, especially when you tell us the idea behind an artwork and difficulties you had. I personally find it really inspiring. I do have some kind of video suggestion, though. I would love to learn some techniques for drawing and painting from you. Like how to use watercolors or how to draw bodies and stuff. I think that kind of videos would be really helpful since you are an experienced artist. But all in all: do what you love:D I love your videos either way! Thank you for inspiring me ❣️

Awww as always it was a moment of relax when I enter to your videos and watch them. Answering to your question, in my opinion your videos are absolutely not heavy in content. It’s amazingly informative with the art supplies you try and I like when you talk about the process cause it’s good to know that there are days and draws that you don’t like and also love when you do it. Your opinions are super honest and your talking it’s relaxing. So, I encourage to do whatever you feel comfortable with, if you just wanna draw and put music in a speed drawing if you don’t feel like talking it’s good. And on the other hand, if you wanna do a video talking about being A Highly sensitive person (which I also am, by the way

Where's the "Cat intermission"?? ;) Anyway - I like videos when you try out new art supplies and talk about your impressions of them, I also enjoy to watch art challenges (like using all supplies of one colour etc.), but I'm sure I would enjoy watching you drawing whatever you'd like and talking about something else. I prefer when there's some talking with the video though, not just the music. P.S. right now waiting for the first order of stickers from your Redbbuble shop to arrive, can't wait to have them!

I think you can talk about anything that inspires you and that you are passionate about. Passion about something rubs off on people who are listening and watching and makes us, the viewer, excited too. Being relatable is definitely what attracts a bigger audience. It's a personal touch. Of course don't share if you're not comfortable and there will always be people who can't relate to something. As they old saying goes, "You can only please some of the people some of the time not all of the people all of the time". Love watching your videos. I find it fascinating to watch your process and see what you create. :-)

Hi Marie, regarding your question, I think it could be fun to add some more 'story time' type videos, but the kind that I like most is where the artist still shares some thoughts or insights into the making of the piece throughout their story - like the story is the main piece but just adding some information about the art as well. Plus, that way you catch the people who come for art stuff, but also something for those who are interested in learning more about the artist. Anyways, just my opinion, I'm sure whatever you do will work out!
