I used to watch these vlogs religiously before I started college. Your videos made me so excited to go to school lol. I’ve graduated now but I rewatch them sometimes because it’s like coming back to see an old friend. It reminds me of the person I was before and how much I’ve changed. Idk why this comment is so long. I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your life with us

Hi Annabelle, could you do a video where you talk about where you get your artistry from ? Like how you learned painting and got your drawing skills, what put you on that path and made you evolve. Art in general was never a part of my life and now that I'm slowly discovering it and seeing people like you expressing themselves through it and being good at it, I feel like I missed out on something. Do you believe it's something that people just have (talent, artistic vision etc...) or something you can develop, even as an adult ? I'm only 19 but I never got passed the stage of stick figures and little islands you draw in kindergarten. Anyway I hope you will see this and if you do, that you will consider it. Love seeing new videos from you, happy continuation

I'm not her, but I'm an artist and I can share my point of view! I don't believe anyone is born with talent, the only reason the kids in your elementary/primary school were good at drawing was because they drew a lot. The stereotype that Asian kids are good at drawing are also because we watch anime at a young age, so we have more art influences to go by and that's how a lot of us develop our love. I've seen people that start learning how to draw and after a year, it pretty much looks professional, but to really create your own art you have to look at what you love and what inspires you, and out that into your art. Anyone can be an artist, that's the best thing about drawing. It's only the people that keep drawing who are successful! (It's a quote from somewhere, but I can't remember haha)

@@Nanancay i agree, talent is just a big lie that lets people think tht they shouldn't invest the time because they don't want to start off bad.

Your painting of the lady portrait was beautiful - how you painted from scratch without first sketching, how you put the colours together to how it showed her emotions so realistically (that I could feel her)!
