i used liquid clear but when making the limbs the paint was spreading after i put it on the canvas, why is that, is it a reaction between liquid clear and turpenoid?

Yes, LC and thinner don't go together well.

My trees are so much better because of this video. I still can't seem to get the thin tips of branches dark enough ... they get nice and thin like yours, but I lose paint, and they are lighter in color. Your branch tips look thin but darker.
