Make sure the name of your phone doesn’t have an emoji in it. Thats how i fixed mine.

Thanks for your help. I have a 2010 and previously had my Iphone paired, however upon replacing it, I was unsuccessful in pairing the same phone to the same vehicle until I reviewed your video.

Mine doesn't do this.. It just shows a menu like you would expect if a phone was connected but no phone is connected and the Bluetooth buttons are blanked out

You can use bimmer code to code in advanced Bluetooth, I've done this. However I still can't get past the conmecting screen so absolutely useless. Has anyone found a fix?

Stephen Smyth this happens when you try connecting a mobile phone with an emoji on its name you have to find the phone with the emoji you were trying to connect and change it’s name by removing the emojis

@blackfist you cant bro its stupid. Like first gen bluetooth doesnt have music audio just has voice audio. I had to buy an audio Bluetooth jack for like 30$ works good.
