Not a paiste employee, but a machinist. Generally chips are collected and recycled, in this case melted back into blanks and then turned into other cymbals.

Your Reflector cymbal series is nasty... The one thing I hate about Zildjian is when I cracked a hi hat or something and got a new one, it did NOT sound the same. And that irks me how inconsistent they really were.
