What do you suggest better? [paiste 2002 14hihat sound edge, crash 2002 classic (14,16,17), 2002 20 "Power or heavy ride, 2002 china 16 or 18] OR [2002 14 sound edge hihat, 2002 thin crash (16, 17,18), 2002 20 "power or heavy ride, 2002 china 16 or 18?] I play at home with poor sound insulation and not in the studio. .I play metal. Your sound engineer probably came from EQing other brands as I can tell it's a bit over EQd - no need to EQ Paistes so much as other brands. Paistes already have the highs even with flat EQ 👍 - great drumming!

Why does he have a double pedal when he is using 2 single pedals?

I usually use one 22" with a double pedal and one 24" with single pedal! Different sounds and so forth! Cheers

No pillows in the kicks? Amazing sound. If I remove my pillows I just get a shitty sustained BOOOOOM and no defined sound like you... I dont understand =(

I tune my kick head really low to get the attack and the reso a bit higher for some body! The dampening rings in the heads help a bunch aswell! 👌

@@danlc95 When tuning the kick head that low I did not have problem with the basketball sound! Cutting some mids help aswell I feel like ✌️

@@KimFilppudrummer - I will give that a shot! Thank you! I'm using a similar head configuration (Remo Ebony P3 reso, Remo PowerStroke Pro batter). But those Aquarians sound so good. I have a Texture Coated Power Dot on one of my snares, and it makes me want to try them again. I really liked the Coated Sit a on the snare, Studio X on the toms, and SK2 / Force 2 (whatever the reso is) on the bass.

@@danlc95 no problem! Texture coated with power dot is my favorite snare head! I much prefer superkick 1 over 2. Since i feel like the fundamental tone of a one ply head is lower. Makes it easier to tune low! Feel free to shoot me a message if you want to talk drumheads and tuning 😄

I'm assuming he does that just incase one of his heads breaks. He has the ACD Unlimited drive shaft so it will be exactly the same feel. He could also use two different size kicks, but he's using two 20"s. Not really sure.
