I’m glad he gave a shout out to the giant beats. I think they are underrated. I get comments about how great they sound. Vintage yet they speak clearly

They're soooo good but they don't cut too well in louder music. I broke a 17" crash only about 3 months into using it (6 nights a week though) :-(

I LOVED the ride cymbal Steve used on John Mayer's "Waiting For The World To Change". So jazzy sounding when it came out...like nothing else on pop radio at the time. Had to listen to it over and over just for that ride! I think it was a 22" Traditional light ride...

In my opinion, he plays the Eric Clapton catalog better than anyone else... even Gadd. Again, just my opinion. I really like the force that he plays with. Not only with Clapton, but everyone else he plays with. 😆☕🥁🥁🥁🌌

@@Moyetniishiswa2000 Yeah, Jordan iZ an amazing drummer 😃 I actually do love Gadd, too. But I'm not a fan of Ferrone... he darn near ruined Duran DuranZ sound, in my opinion. ☕🥁🥁🥁

Steve can do it all. I hear so many influences in his playing. From Stubblefield to Blakey to Philly Joe to Watts. I would love to also hear him on a full set of vintage 602s and some old K’s. He 😅would make that gear sing. With all the pitches he can throw, that B15 alloy on the signature traditionals makes a lot of sense for him. I get why he’s where he is at in the Paiste lineup.

I'm not a huge Paiste fan except for the Traditional and some of the 602s. Lately I have been sending Bosphorus and Istanbul cymbals to Reverie drums to have Timothy Roberts tune them up for me. They are the greatest, especially the hi-hats.

@@PeterWilborn67 The 24" Thin maintains stick definition much better than the 22". I enjoyed playing the 22" for lower volume gigs, but it washes out fast. The 24" is different.
