Aussie commentators are gems. Not their fault- the whole country is like that. Imagine a country that has the verbosity of a 18year old teen as part of ratpack of teens. Lots of bravado, chest thumping and loose talk. Substance lacking... mostly relegated to drinking fosters

This isn't a terrible decision. That ball would have been at least close to the stumps with the possibility of it hitting. If the batsman was so certain that it wasn't going to hit the stumps why did he use his pads instead of just letting it go over? Probably not a great decision by the umpire, but little sympathy for batsmen who think that using the pads to stop the ball hitting the stumps is fair play.
