Maharaj Hari Singh had signed treaty with India to be its part with spl powers.Thus complete Jk inclusive POK area is part of jk.UNO resolution took place later on.Thus POK has to be vacated by Pak first .Second India has to keep minimum Defence forces to defend borders .Last step is that complete Jammu and Kashmir inclusive of POK have to decide whether they want to be with India Or Pak .Thus Kashmir residents decision will not b final verdict but vote given by complete JK .In view of treaty signed by King Of JK with India Complete Jk inclusive of ovccupied POK belongs to INdIA..

This is what happens when your prejudice is over-shadowing your academic enquiry. Pakistan was required to take the fighting tribal folks back (and that too was to the best of its ability) which Pakistan did within months after this resolution. India was to give a plan of demilitarisation to this proposed (but hitherto not formed) commission which it never did. If there were a subject dealing with Pakistan phobia, she could be called doctor of philosophy without having to submit any new dissertation.....

The student who asked the question asked it based on his knowledge. His facts and understanding maybe completely wrong. But in response "Carol Christine Fair" clearly got upset for some reason. She is unable to keep her emotions in check. She gets personal and tries to put down the student several times by asking if the student has read this and that. She claims that no Pakistani who brings up the UN resolution has actually read it. That indicates that she has never talked to any Pakistani scholar or expert on the subject. She also suggests that the student has made a fool of himself in public by asking a question based on his limited knowledge. I am commenting on the contents of what Carol Christine is claiming. But the manner she answers the question clearly illustrates her biases and mean personality.

I believe educating yourself is better before educating others both for Indians and Pakistanis. The racism and ultra jingoism one sees in the comment section clearly reveals lack of education and decency not to mention a free thinking mind. What's interesting about the comment section is that not one person who has the heart to see kids targeted and have sympathy for them. Only the population of sick third world backward countries gets off on bashing others before looking at their own state. Which US are you referring to? The one that backs all apartheid occupations in the UN and even bribes official to keep mum? Maybe the woman is a professor but no internationally recognized intellectual in the world discusses a conflict like a imbecile the way both of them did. People who follow independent media sources and read real news ( not state propaganda) know full well how many American professors actively defend foreign occupations and massacres. The list is too long if we include American professors and journalists. What this video simply does is to provide a platform for people to vent their bigotry and religious fanaticism while claiming its the "other" whose the extremist. By that definition everyone who even defends their murders or anyone's murder for that matter on the internet feeling like an armchair warrior should be shot for simply being an extremist. The interesting thing to note is that all occupations tend to dehumanize the people they are oppressing though in the case of Kashmir its unique that the Indian population is so fanatic while claiming others to be the exclusive source of evil that its almost laughable. Any country be it India or Pakistan or any other place on earth where people get killed by a band of hooligans for eating beef or anything else for that matter or for demanding their basic human rights, doesn't deserve to abuse others and show them how evil they happen to be. I have been to occupied Palestine myself and if you have a heart you see the same racism and religious purity with which the people get treated there. Even the narrative is the same that because people are demanding their rights under a so called democratic state they are troublemakers or terrorists. That's absurd. If any country is a safe haven for all its people they won't need to protest for their rights. By branding them as terrorists you can openly advocate their murders just the way many so called peace loving people proudly do on videos related to Kashmir and get massive support for their crazed jingoistic narrative. The same thing you see in Palestine that the people are ghettoized and starved but no way can anybody protest about it because those people have the spine to not give in to their perpetual misery and subjugation. Why should the political elite of a country get to decide the future of a people who want to carve their own future? Nobody owns these people or that land. Your statement on how Kashmir belongs to so and so is more like a child fighting for a toy though in this case these are living human beings not worthy of your precious sympathy for being Muslims but they deserve solidarity from the sane population of the world. The reason why religious bigotry is even brought in this discussion is because that's the narrative the mainstream media the world over laps up really well. So a few decades back the Jews were the terrorists now the Muslims are the terrorists and people invoke the world's approval that has perpetuated this whole myth of terrorism on the lines of religion and ethnicity. Nobody here would even know how many people were murdered in Europe by non Muslim terrorists prior to this new phenomenon but since this is the new flavor of the month and all defenders of child killers have to be bigots or they can't support the terror that their own state commits, they gloss over such facts and never refer to them. An average American despite religious and other differences has more in common with a Palestinian or a Kashmiri than his own political elite. The same goes for all citizens in the world. Living in a democratic state means you hold your state accountable not allow it a free pass to do whatever the hell it wants to and parrot their issued statements day in and day out on the internet for them. But in all fairness it would be a travesty to compare American people with the Indian population because the moment they see their government's war crimes and massacres they don't defend it like spineless crooks they do what decent people in a functioning not a sham democracy ought to do, they hold their leaders accountable. They don't defend child killers and rapists.They believe that even criminals do not deserve to be treated this way who aren't threatening civilians on a battlefield. That's why we see them protesting for the victims of the senseless wars of their country. That's why a decent society can turn around even a mess of country. You would never see most Americans (excluding the fanatics) defend their regime's murders the way Indian citizens defend theirs. Hell even in Israel, people protested the bombing of Gaza and got arrested for it so apparently even there lies albeit a minority that doesn't defend the cowardly killings of their state. If being patriotic means you have to defend anyone's murder who is demanding his or her basic human rights under international law and cheer on it then your inhuman and immoral whether your a Muslim, Christian, Hindu or whatever else. People in the world have the right to decide their fates and do not need the approval of residents of states who are only good at abusing minorities in the name of appearing more patriotic than thou. But again backward nations need to lower others to feel good about themselves. Great nations (and there are many) have citizens who have a conscience and choose people over their state machinery any day. I have been to Palestine and have personally seen how Jewish volunteers go and help protect the Palestinians from these thugs who harass them and that speaks of the moral dignity of those people but sadly in third world countries like India and Pakistan and many others people are rotting in the mud and think by belittling the other so called mortal enemy they somehow vindicate their stature. That's a third world mentality at best. I have more respect for Jewish dissidents who have the heart and moral courage to defend those victims than the Indian population that defends en mass the senseless killing in Kashmir and believes bashing and abusing the other somehow makes it more acceptable but it simply does not.

You dont know what is freedom ,liberation of Bangladesh is freedom they are now 45% more rich, more developed and more literate than you people's that is freedom. Freedom is India become 6th largest economy with Gdp(nominal) with 3.049 Trillion US Dollars, 3rd largest by Gdp( PPP) with 10.207 US Dollars. When we became 5th largest economy by Gdp(nominal) in 2019 by lefting back UK our colonisers, but after pandemic we came at 6th place but difference is very less UK - 3.124 Trillion US Dollars & India - 3.049 Trillion US Dollar we will again get ahead of UK. This is real freedom. When every Indian will be literate, have efficient income , complete nutrition ,atleast basic good life and health facilities that will be complete freedom. And also POK and Akshai Cheen will be free and get back by India.
