This is so stupid. The woman had the head scarf on her head but it slipped off while working and since the CM was there, she kept on working without interpution even if she was uncomfortable. Maryam helped her out. Women do that for other hijabi women who are uncomfortable showing their hair all the time. Please don't talk if you don't have the social context to it and yes, you can be a nonhijabi and help other girls out. I do it all the time.

No ma’am, you are wrong. Let me explain. I wear hijab, at work & at any gathering, even if it’s all ladies gathering because people often share pictures on social media. My religious teaching is that women should cover their head. So I don’t want my hair to show in public. What Maryam Nawaz did was completely out of line. 1- She violated another woman’s personal space And 2- Her team posted the video on social media with the police officer’s uncovered head. I am telling you from the perspective of a hijab observing woman, that it’s so wrong to do such a thing for one’s own publicity /. dramay baazi. And no, hijab in no way signifies “ women’s oppression “. And people who are criticizing her action are not talking in terms of oppression. I observe hijab because I want to, no one has asked me or forced me to do so. I am not oppressed ( I am a physician working in the US for the last 30 yrs ) My sisters live in different parts of the world, all highly educated, all are working & all of us are observing hijab. So please correct your misconception on this issue.
