If only they put the spices in with a batter than it would’ve been tastier and probably comparable to the British version,we make it sometimes that way with spices in batter,it definitely amplifies the batter with extremely flavourful taste,but not too much of though,you still want to able to taste the fish,you want crunchy batter?add a little rice flour to it,it gives it the crunch 😊

The Fish Walai Fish & Chips is a desi fusion of the British fish and chips. Would be interesting to know what it tastes like. However, I'm not a great fan of fusion foods to be honest and there are very few or if any fusion foods I like. I tried fusion foods and most or all of them were dreadful. Wagamama is an example of that.
