A celebration of love (yet, tragically, as it is 40k) for the start of Pride Month. The 41st millennium has little space for love of any variety so knowing a Primarch who would later become so twisted had so much passion that he had to supress for so long. Hopefully one day we shall get to see that passion again! If you enjoyed this please like, comment and subscribe. My many thanks for watching!

Love this more nuanced stance that a primarch like Fulgrim can take. It wouldn’t work with so many of the others, and his relationships with normal humans shows what he could have been if his light was not snuffed out so early in the heresy.

@@hannahs.7297 We know Fulgrim was an absolute beast in the forge as he went toe to toe with Ferrus of all Primarchs and matched him as an equal in craftsmanship. Not only that, but he was one of the few Primarchs know to fight alongside and run drills with the human auxiliary accompanying his fleet, even being know to be hesitant to spend their lives. The guy was an absolute beacon, a bright star unto his own that chastised his sons for looking down upon regular humans, after all he built statues with his own hands in memory of his dead parents just because he wanted to. In short, he cared, he really did Now how many people would think this synopsis would be perfect for Vulkan if I just switched his name in there? It really is remarkable how many similarities they had, the thought of how close they would've been as brothers fills me with sorrow :((

How I feel reading the Corax books. The tragedy, the sorrow, the tears. He went to the Emperor to ask for forgiveness, and permission to die in battle... But he held onto the hope his father gave him, and it was all ruined...

This reminds me of when Xanatos called his love for Fox a weakness, only for Goliath to reply: "Only you would call love a weakness". In denying himself love and pursuing perfection, Fulgrim retreated more from humanity and into Slaanesh's claws.
@LordCommander-ui2fw6 ай бұрын
Sigh; perhaps if Fulgrim could have allowed himself to love, to have a single messy, imperfect thing in his life that was all the more beautiful for it, he could have been saved. It need not necessarily be the love a man can experience for a woman, though it could have been. But if he had that quite, genuine bond with another person, someone who he could cherish and would cherish him in return without thought of reward on either side, perhaps the sting of his Legion being so reduced could have been healed. Perhaps he might have been able to take honest pride in his work instead of endlessly seeking perfection.

And that is why things would've been so much different if Fulgrim remained loyal and doesn’t stray from the path, so genuine.. so sincere that makes your heart beat with every fiber of our being, but passion and love for humanity is the shining beacon that he would've become.

Cruzify me but the story of Fulgrim will always be the sadest of them all. Horus, hybris. Angron, rage. Mortarion, spite. Magnus, to much curiosity, Curze, madness. Perturabe, blaming all others for not patting him on the back. Fulgrim bettered the worlds he conquered, did his best to shed no or as little blood as possible and then he touched a blade. And Big E didn't tell em anything about the Warp or demons. So he fell, and he fell so deep that it really hurts. Most deranged under all his brothers and not even a spark of his glory left in him...
