Why is this happening to our people? Why do they have to endure a literal gen0cide? Muslims must know, this is all happening by the will of Allah. In fact, nothing happens without the will of Allah. We feel scared, guilty, and angry, but we forget to turn to Allah in the midst of these circumstances, The All-Knowing, The All-Wise, The Best of Planners. there is no side to be on, this is everything wrong with this conflict, people acting in tribal ways. Wha t about standing on the side of what is moral? It's a little bit more complicated than be pro-Palestine or Israel. I support Israel's right to respond to the horrific attacks of 7th of october, simultaneously I am heartbroken to see innocent Palestinians die as a consequence.

@@TheBoss-wx8ge palestine obviously. It was ruled by the ottoman empire followed by the Britts who invaded it as an excuse to let the Jews enter it and just casually leave palestine with the Jews still in there to become what it is today. There are lots of videos explaining the topic on youtube because its alot, more than what I can say in a comment (arab ones with translations are most likely to be trusted with their resources as Israel is literally faking history not even after we died and somehow while we lived to witness it and ofcourseit would be something they'd do)

I was raised as a Christian in a Latin American country, fullt detached from Islam, and even having a twisted perception of what Muslims are... I feel ashamed to say it, but these recent events are the first time I started seeing Muslims and Palestinians not only as people, but as possible friends, brothers and sisters, with dreams, aspirations, and faith. Just waking up every day in Falastin, with so many issues, but determined to live, is to me an act of faith. I'm not perfect, I don't go to church that often, I'm gay, and I don't read the Bible that much let alone the Qur'an, but I believe God, or Allah, wanted me to hear this. I've had rough days lately mentally, but only Allah is the best of planners, which in this dunya as you said, is hard to make sense of. I don't know how I could watch this video without pausing it or distracting myself, but I think it's for a purpose. Peace be upon you ❤

I've asked myself "why does god allow this to happen?" several times not only with external situations but also with things happening to me or my loved ones. There’s a saying, " I wanted to ask God, why there is hunger, war and poverty in the world, but I was afraid that God might ask me the same thing." God has given us enough food in the world, He has given us enough intellect and guidance to do the right thing, and to avoid causing harm to anyone, including ourselves. However, it is human flaws, ignorance and evilness that bring so much suffering to the world.

Hi Farah, I live in Turkey that we can count as a Middle Eastern country. We are so close to the area where the war happens. Every night I can't sleep because of the fear of the war. And I can't stop crying for Palestine people. I saw a video of a young boy from Palestine. In the video, he was crying and saying ''Where are those Muslim friends while we are suffering. Why are we so alone?''. He was just 7 years old and after I saw this video, as a Muslim, I felt so helpless and shame. My heart can't stop feeling pain for two weeks since this war started. My prayers are always with them. And I wanna do more about it. Thank you. And the topic you chose is so wise. Today I read 2:177 from Quran. In that passage, Allah says 'be patient when there is war'. He says he is with them who are patient.

Gosh, you are such an impressive young girl. You have such insight, such hope and such bravery to look at the world the way you do and speak up about it. I pray Allah blesses you and your parents for doing a wonderful job, and I pray for all my Muslim family out there for the blessings of Allah for patience, for strength, and for us to further unite as a great ummah. I reverted to Islam in 2020 and Islam helped me pull back on many of my Liberal ideology and being a scientist, my sole belief in science. Being in America, and embracing much of the conservative and traditional principles of Islam, I thought that the conservatives were onto something and the liberals were enemies to us. But being a white female myself, noticing the outrageous media bias ON BOTH SIDES, standing up for Israel’s right to defend its European ethnicity while demolishing and destroying the Palestinians and belittled them to Arab terrorists (as if all Arab cultures are the same) I couldn’t believe the blatant racism. I thought our modern world was better than that, at least better compared to the past but no. It’s just hidden better. And believe me, this needed to happen to let the world know that NOTHING has changed. Racial hierarchies still exist, but they’ve developed it better in order to more easily gaslight and destroy communities that are a threat to them. The atrocities occurring overseas, as tough as they may be to swallow, will awaken the public somehow someway that the world we thought we were headed towards is a facade. Don’t lose faith! Don’t drive yourself crazy and deprive yourself of your relationship with Allah because you are trying to bring justice in this world. Only Allah grants true justice in the way he sees fit.

No, to anyone who is feeling this Im gonna use farah's words as they comforted me and made me stop questioning when the help is coming and also a bit of my words and Allah's . This dunya is a tiny tiny tiny fraction of your life, say Alhamdulillah that Allah has made us live on this Earth for a tinnnyyyy fraction of life. Stand up and protect your brothers and sisters. The people have been martyred, they are with Allah. Their test is done and they are in the company of Allah, the most high. Their affairs are done here. Alhamdulillah. They have a golden ticket to jannah and company of Allah. The way Allah plans is perfect and precise. And now from the Quran : 'indeed the help of Allah is near'. Do not loose hope! Especially when those who are currently being tested never did! ❤❤❤❤

Im Samoan/Maori born in New Zealand. Im educating myself on both sides of this conflict. There are definitely so many agendas from Allies behind this conflict. And so many people are taking sides for so many different reasons. My heart goes out to familes from both Israel and Palestine because like you said at the end of the day its humans being killed. I refuse to take a side because of this. Babies don't get to choose which race or whiçh countries they want to be born into. They're dying simply for being Israeli or Palestine. Racism is embedded in this war heavily. God bless you and thank you for posting this. You're a beautiful soul 💜 please stay safe 🙏❤️ Sending big hugs to you and your people! Stay strong 💜

I am Black living in the US. When protests against police brutality gone on here, I vividly remember Palestinians offering their support in murals, social media posts and advice against tear gas and other tools of oppression. It was then that I deeply researched their struggle, and as I sit here I am indebted to their voice and strength and continue to be their voice in return. What you said about not wishing to be a part of this world anymore because it is dominated by white people brought me to tears, since I feel the same, but then I remember that I was put here to empathize and understand humanity. I will continue to keep hope alive. Thank you for this video. Peace will come to Palestine.

I’I am absolutely disgusted by my president he does not speak for me. What I gather is I don’t blame anyone hating on my country as the actions of the US government is irresponsible. I worry as an American that our government meddling in everything is going to lead to my country being nuked to high heaven. I’m anti war period as civilians are innocent. I’m praying for everyone.

True. A lot of Americans won’t acknowledge this, but the US government’s meddling caused 9/11 to happen and then the gov blamed it all on Muslims as if the attack were completely unprovoked. Of course the civilians did not deserve to die, neither did the civilians in the Middle East the US military killed. I’m so sick of our tyrannical government and all the propaganda. We are essentially a country run by warlords that holds the rest of the world in a chokehold and most of our citizens are prisoners inside and not even treated well by our own government.

Thank you for such a lovely episode ❤ This is the first episode I watched from your podcast and it was really comforting ❤ I have also been thinking a lot about how meaningless this Dunia is in the light of the recent tragedy, and how disappointed I was in the west, but then I was reminded of what Umar Ibn Al-Khattāb said "كنا أذل أمة فأعزنا الله بالإسلام، ومهما ابتغينا العزة في غيره أذلنا الله". I'll speak only for myself but I have been complacent in putting western people and values as goals and aspirations when Islam and Muslims now and through history should have been what inspires me to be a better person and a better Muslim. I got too caught up in matters if Dunia that I forgot that this was a test and all these things don't really matter. Anyway, it's better late than never, I can start now. And thank you again for the comfort and reminder that we all belong to Alllah, and he's the all merciful and knows what is best for us ❤

I went through a lot of reflection on my thoughts while I learned about Palestine and Israel, I watched what people from all types of opinions, what do they think, what do they say, realized a lot of things. Im not a muslim and neither religious. But to me the ongoing genocide gave a leard to learn about human being and world in general. I am a leftist, I am indigenous, and ngl innthe first days or even weeks after Oct 7th I couldn't understand why people especially in my community were so cruel and cold heesrted to the victims that were Israeli. You know, all these posts right after the attack about that this is the decolonization, this is justified etc. And now my heart pains how none of the loud words about humanity hage any use, how all those UN, human rights, Geneva conventions, how none of that works. How humanity learned nothing from two world wars and the only thing that makes us differenent from the past amcient times is that we are able to witness the genocide live online. To me its also terrible that people in my country divided into two camps and both are hateful - a lot of people who were against colonialism of our own country, who protested when oir country attacked a neighbor, for some reason support Israel snd are completely deaf and blind to Palestinians and their suffering. Another part which supprts Palestine are terribly judophobic. They even organized lynch raids on synagogues, hotel and airport searching for "Israeli refugees". So its all indeed a difficult time to go through. I only dream and think about that one day Palestinians will be safe, free and flourishing in their native home. I hope that people will get rid of Islamophobia and antisemitism. I know that this might be too naive to hope for, but I still hope. I try to build connections with people that have their humanity preserved. Im lucky to know peoole like you, Farah, who spread this humanity. Thankyou for being there.

Farah, an interesting video you're sharing about your opinions and thoughts. I want to share mine as well. First, as you mentioned, everyone who genuinely wishes to understand the conflict can find information on the internet. I am not a Muslim, Christian, Jewish, or atheist; I'm just a regular person who also has their own beliefs, views, and faith from around the world. It's important to acknowledge that Allah forgives human mistakes, as has been the case throughout human existence. We have always been prone to making mistakes, and unfortunately, that is what makes us human - whether for the greater good or otherwise. The crucial point to remember is that in the conflict between Israel and Palestine, both sides are in the wrong. There is no holy side, and there is no holy land. We are all human, and we make mistakes every day. Some learn from these mistakes, while others continue to make them. The fact that a place is considered holy or not should not lead to such conflicts. It's not a matter of God's involvement in this.""The fact is that both sides are in the wrong with their egocentric religious perspectives. We often fail to see the inherent humanity and brotherhood in people, always categorizing them as 'Latin, Arab, Christian, White, Asian, African,' and the list goes on. I believe it's not up to us to definitively label who is right or wrong, as it's primarily a matter of human ego. However, it is our responsibility to assess the attitudes of both sides, especially in the case of the Palestinians, where the main target is Hamas. As mentioned, no one is truly holy. Israel also bears its share of blame, and we can't forget the British, who still maintain their influence, and the resurgence of the Roman Empire, though I won't delve into that subject here. For those who seek to educate themselves and gain a deeper understanding, it's essential to engage in a healthy discussion." I respectfully disagree with your statement that you feel pain for the Palestinians (I'm not playing down your feelings or your values). I do believe that, to some extent, when we haven't personally experienced a situation, it can be challenging to truly understand the depth of the pain. What we can feel, and what we all feel, is empathy for those suffering in situations of war or conflict. In this context, I can comprehend the importance of empathy. However, I want to emphasize that my intention is not to diminish the gravity of what is happening between Israel and Palestine, nor the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, or any other wars that may be ongoing, even those we might not be aware of. There are so many realities that we do not directly experience, and, of course, we are not to blame for these situations. They are the result of the mistakes made by others, and sometimes by ourselves, as this is inherent to human nature. There are countless places facing issues, but as long as we see each other as brothers, it's unlikely that anything will change. Ego, suffering, and wars will unfortunately persist. The reality, as I see it, is that we should maintain empathy, even though we may not fully understand the exact circumstances in these places. We have no idea what truly transpires there. I hope that in some way, we can prevent others from having to endure the loss of loved ones, sexual violence, or the brutality that humanity is capable of inflicting on itself. With this in mind, I say:" 'm not here to judge your opinions, Farah; everyone lives in their own reality. However, I believe we should be cautious about what we believe in and share with others. This isn't related to God or religion, just to be clear. If people are like that, it has been said that it's a human issue that should be treated with dignity, empathy, and an attempt to understand both sides. As I've mentioned, until the day we view each other simply as fellow humans and not as Latin, white, black, etc., we all have our own opinions. We shouldn't neglect the opportunity to learn from one another if we genuinely want to do so. I'm already aware of what history tells us at every moment. God isn't directly involved in these matters, whether you consider yourself a Westerner, Christian, or Israeli. I'm just a regular person who's learning and making mistakes every day, but I'm aware of the consequences of my actions. With that in mind, I'd like to pose a question: If there were a chosen people, would God truly be pleased with the hatred and conflict sown by humanity? If so, that's your faith and perspective. But if not, then it's in our best interest to strive for unity and see humanity as one, as brothers. One day, we can hope for a world without flags, religions, creeds, dogmas, races, or ideologies - a world where we truly come together, as it has always been meant to be. That's my perspective." Thats all peace to you!
