I have just finished reading, Blood Brothers. By Elias Chacour. It's an old book. But its well worth a read. Chacour talks about Palestinian villages been cleansed. It's a first hand account of these events. Chacour is ordained in the Melkite Church. It's very honest book and worth reading. Published in 1984. If you're Christian I highly recommend it.

Without being an expert on the subject, may I put it to you that the 'cleansing' was in response to continual terror attacks. Jordan expelled groups like Hamas in 1970 in a way which could be also seen as a type of 'cleansing'. Finally what is Russia doing in Ukrain, if not 'ethnic cleansing' as a method of protection. I'm quite sure that the outcome would be the same if the US was continual terror attacked by Mexico. Cheers

Many so-called Christians misunderstand what the Bible taught. It is the LAND that is holy. Who governs it is IRRELEVANT. It was promised by G-d to those that accept the Torah and live by the laws of Moses. This does not include the modern day atheists who call themselves “Jewish” and who worship the Israeli military and apartheid state. It is a fact the EVERY Israeli PM has been an atheist, as were all the early Zionists . A so-called “Jewish” state that steals land from Palestinians and openly attacks observant Jews who follow the Torah is the direct OPPOSITE of what ethical Judaism represents. Judaism is a RELIGION. It is NOT a nationality as the deceitful Zionists would have you believe.

Because they reject Jesus Christ, even the non zionist jews don't want anybody but bloodline Israel or converts to judaism living in that land. My Bible says that those not of blood but of faith are inheritors of God's promise. I just don't believe it is the current state called Israel, but the new jerusalem spoken of. Both sides can and will keep fighting over a temporal land, when the promise is an eternal place, not the place they fight over.

ONE binational state within historic Palestine, with EQUAL RIGHTS for ALL regardless of their ethnic or religious category. THAT is the answer. It won’t be easy, but the alternative proposed by Israel apologists is an APARTHEID state, and that is unacceptable in a modern world.

Mr Hanefraaff, there is a clear bias in your tone when you speak on this subject. It is obvious that you strongly oppose the Jews claim to the land of Israel as their ancient homeland. The Church's sanctioned anti-Semitism isn't anything new. Yet, I was not aware of the extent of the Anti-Israel bigotry within the EOC. It is still alive and well within many segments of Christianity. The bridge between Christians & Jews needs to be fomented. Keep in mind that the Messiah Jesus, was Jewish (Hebrews 7:14) and for that matter were all of the apostles save for Mark. Have you heard of the orthodox priest in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, Father Vladimir Tobin, the head priest of St. Vladimir's Orthodox Church in Halifax, who was forced to resign after giving a sermon about the importance of honoring the Jewish roots of Christianity and praying for Israel? The Lord said to Abram “I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3) They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. (Romans 9:14) It is one thing to speak on behalf of Palestinians another to revise history in the way this author has done. Not everything the Israeli government does is right but that Land was indeed given to them by God Himself. Their return to that Land was orchestrated by YHVH.

@linak7155

@@antonralph6947 I never said anything to the contrary. Yes! It is only through the Messiah, Jesus that anyone could be saved. That doesn't mean God is done with the Jewish people. Many of them turned to Jesus at His first visitation, many are turning to Him today and many will turn in the future. "Then a great crowd of the Yehuḏim learned that He was there. And they came, not on account of יהושע only, but also to see Elʽazar, whom He had raised from the dead. And the chief priests resolved to kill Elʽazar as well, because on account of him many of the Yehuḏim went away and *believed in יהושע* On the next day a great crowd who had come to the festival, when they heard that יהושע was coming to Yerushalayim, took the branches of palm trees 🌿 and went out to meet Him, and were crying out, “Hoshia-na! Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה, the King of Yisra’ĕl!” John 12:9-13 Psalm 118:125-126 It is said that the history between the church and the synagogue has been written in blood and punctuated in violence. It seems from the foundation of the early church, Christians have accused the Jews of rejecting their Messiah and killing the Son of God. Consequently, early Christian leaders held that God has rejected them. Augustine wrote, “Jews have been scattered throughout all nations as witnesses to their own sin and to our truth…Scatter them abroad, take away their strength. And bring them down O lord.” Even, Martin Luther, late in life, was unreserved in his language calling for the destruction of German Jewry. “First, set fire to their synagogues … Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed.” Many historians say that fifteen centuries of anti-Jewish sentiment laid the foundation of the worst atrocity the Jews have endured - the Holocaust. God has a plan that encompasses all men who would turn to Him and that includes the Jews. Those who take a literal approach to the promises of the Hebrew, Scriptures believe that the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob will be restored to a right relationship with God and receive the fulfillment of the covenants. Those who advocate replacement theology affirm that the Church has completely replaced Israel and will inherit God’s promises to Israel; the covenants, then, will be fulfilled only in a spiritual sense. In other words, replacement theology teaches that Israel will not inherit the actual land of Israel; the Church is the “new Israel,” and ethnic Israel is forever excluded from the promises - the Jews will not inherit the Promised Land as Jews per se. Rom 11:26 "And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: ‘The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.’ As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable.” Romans 11:16-29, citing Isaiah 59:20-21; 27:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34

Biblical Understanding About The Israel/Palestinian Conflicts The experience of war, which has, at one time or another, afflicted every Nation in the world, is a historical fact. Not only is the occurrence of wars a historical fact, but wars, and the causes of wars, are recorded throughout the Bible. The past and present wars, between Nations of the world, have been recorded throughout the Scripture, which is set within historic narrative. 2 Chronicles 16: 9 provides an answer to why wars happen. Jeremiah was a prophet of God, proclaiming that judgment was coming upon Jerusalem. The false prophets, on the other hand, said that the future of Jerusalem looked bright, and Jerusalem could look forward to peace, not war. The phrase "Peace, peace, when there is no peace" is found in Jeremiah 6: 14 as well as Jeremiah 8: 11. It is also found in Ezekiel 13: 10 and 16. In all four places, it has the same meaning in the same historical context. Jesus said that "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom (Matthew 24: 7 - NIV)." The proof of the fulfillment of Christ's prophecy, has occurred, and continues to be fulfilled (Revelation 6: 2-4, 12 - NIV), which began shortly after Christ's ascension, and from the Apostolic Age, down through the ages, and continuing in the present time. This includes the nations who give the false impression of "Peace," in between the times of tribulation. In the present world, storms occurr. Throughout history, in between each storm, false prophets say "Peace," and those who are deceived, by false prophets, think that they do not have to prepare for coming storms. Ultimately, if we are deceived into thinking there is no reality that storms occurr in this present world, then we feel no need to prepare for the final storm, when Christ returns to earth in His glorified body, to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him. Jesus, in the Bible, did not cover the details, of how His prophecy would unfold, but history would provide those details. Before the 2 world wars broke out, no one could explain how it would happen. Afterwards, we now know the details of how Christ's prophecy became reality. The German nation, in the 1930's, showed us, vividly, how anti-Christs get seated in governments. Germany gave power to a false leader, and their false leader, between 1933 and 1945, started a war (No Biblically just cause), and committed to the genocide of Old Testament practicing Jews - A sinful violation of human rights. This then paved the way for Old Testament Jews, in Palestine, to begin accepting Jewish immigrants from Germany. Eventually, an Old Testament Jewish nation comes into existence (1948), and Palestinian Arabs are offended, those who had been the majority in the Levant, before Jewish immigration. It should be mentioned that the Old Testament Jews truly hated what Germany did to them, and they, being unable to defend themselves, throughout history (A.D.), have found territory, which accounts for their own nation, as license to defend themselves, and fight their enemies. No nation is experiencing what the Jews went through in World War 2 Germany, more than the Palestinian Arabs. Shall we then say that what Christ taught us to pray, "Father forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing (Luke 23: 34)," the Old Testament Jews, of Palestine, are not able to say and do?" Conflict continues, and Zionists who think that the Jewish physical in-gathering, in Palestine, is evidence of a Jewish return to Christ (Christ is our Peace; the Peace of Jerusalem), the Zionist claim is false. The Jewish physical in-gathering, in Palestine, is aligned with the continuation of the fulfillment (Revelation 6: 2-4, 12 - NIV) of Christ's Matthew 24: 7 prophecy of "Nation against nation," and this cannot confuse Christ's gathering of the dispersed, with a Jewish nation, in the present world of nations. All nations are presently experiencing their portion of "Jacob's trouble (Jeremiah 30: 7)," while simultaneously, Christ is also presently gathering the dispersed of Judah - Jews and Gentiles, unto Himself, from the four corners of the earth. In the earliest dawn of Christ's infancy, it was revealed to the mother of the Christ that "A sword should pass through her own soul also (Luke 2: 35/4: 29/Matthew 12: 46/John 19: 26)." In Matthew 12: 46, Mary had to check Jesus teaching, because the Pharisees charged Him with casting out devils through Beelzebub. Jesus said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace but a sword (Matthew 10: 34)." This is taken from Micah 7: 6. Christ did not here mean to say that the object of his coming was to produce discord and contention, for he was the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9: 6/Isaiah 11: 6/Luke 2: 14), but he means to say that such would be one of the effects of his coming; one part of a family that was opposed to Him would set themselves against those who believed in Him. The wickedness of men, and not the religion of the Gospel, is the cause of this hostility. It is unnecessary to say that no prophecy has been more strikingly fulfilled; and it will continue to be fulfilled until all unite in obeying his commandments. Then His religion will produce universal peace. Compare the notes at Matthew 10: 21. The sword is an instrument of death, and to send a sword is the same as to produce hostility and war (Barnes' Notes on the Bible). In 2 Chronicles 16, we read about Asa, king of Judah, and his dealing with Baasha, king of Israel. Baasha had built the city of Ramah to keep people in his country, from going out of his country, and to keep people in Judah, from coming into his country. In response to this issue, Asa relied on Benhadad (King of Syria) to break his league with Baasha (King of Israel). At that time, a seer, named Hanani, came to Asa, king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the Lord thy God, therefore, is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thy hand (2 Chronicles 16: 7). "Therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars (2 Chronicles 16, and the last sentence in verse 9)." In these words the prophet does not announce to Asa definite wars, but only expresses the general idea that Asa by his godless policy would bring only wars (In indefinite universality), not peace, to the kingdom. History confirms the truth of this announcement, although we have no record of any other wars which broke out under Asa. Although this language at first seems to be intended for very specific application to Asa, yet as we do not read of individual wars occurring after this in his own time, it is quite within a just interpretation of it if we read it as referring to the inevitable experience of the kingdom. Asa had just thrown away the opportunity of blocking out one ever-threatening enemy. What more natural consequence than that wars should rush in as a flood, in the after-times.

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”[

In the Bible the nation of Israel was indeed God's chosen people under the old covenant, but when Jesus came and died on the cross, He established the new covenant as God had promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34. We read in Hebrews 8:6-13, 10:16-18, and 12:24 that this prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus, the mediator of the new and better covenant. Therefore, all the OT promises made to Israel have been fulfilled in the Lord Jesus, who is the promised seed of Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3 & Galatians 3:16-18). The new covenant has come and the old covenant is past. The nation of Israel that existed during the old testament era and at the time of Christ’s first coming fulfilled its purpose of bringing the promised Messiah to all the nations and is no longer a part of God’s plan of redemption for mankind, nor ever will be again. Modern day Israel is not the same as Biblical Israel, but rather a politically created nation by the U.N since 1948 and is not a fulfillment of any Bible prophecy. Jesus foretold of the destruction of Jerusalem in Matthew 24 and Luke 21. That event took place in 70 AD and that ended not only the Judaic age, but also God's dealings with Israel as a nation. Our focus as Christians should be to spread the gospel to all the world and not only on one nation in the middle east that has no particular significance to us or to God. Under the new covenant all people can come to faith in Christ and be saved, whether they are a Jew or a Gentile because the dividing wall has been removed and all who believe are one body in Christ (Ephesians 2:14). Only those who believe in Jesus are saved and are God's chosen, covenant people. We should pray for the salvation of Israelis just as we pray for people of all nations.

@@christalone71I couldn't agree more, with all you have said. 100% correct. However, what if God wanted to use the physical 'City of David', Jerusalem, a city known after his name, to bring the world into judgement? It has been said, it began with the city of Jerusalem and that perhaps it might finish with Jerusalem. The only opposition to this view would be that it would have to be prophetically announced in the scriptures. Because God does nothing without first announcing to his people through prophecy. Perhaps just speculation on my part. Cheers

All Israel will be saved, but not all Israel is of Israel (Romans 9.6). This shows the discussion is about fleshly Israel vs a spiritual Israel, see also Rom 2.28-29. Paul points to himself as one of the exceptions and cites Elijah and Isaiah regarding remnants through the generations as the exceptions, which continues into Revelation 7 when we see the 144,000 numbered out of the tribes who do not take the mark of the beast. This is an imitation of the Name of the Lord given in the Sinai Covenant renewed by the pseudo prophet imitating Elijah who the rabis anticipate to renew the covenant in defiance of the new covenant which Jeremiah said would not be like the one at Sinai which they broke.

I'm shocked at the blatant disregard of the old testament example GOD Himself set forth in sending His people into the land from the beginning. So now are we to decry the Lord Himself in His way of what He instructed His people to do? Shall we now protest in perpetual time those who suffered when God sent the Israelites in to destroy everything including children and animals? It is to play God to say suffering is unbeneficial to His purposes. The why of why people anywhere suffer is without need to for intellectual acuity, God's way... or any other way. He doesn't make room for any other way. He instructs us not to make room for any other way. The problem with Israel is His, not the world's. He is their "police" the intellectuals of the world waste their energy on writing books when they need only read One - God's unchanging, infallible Word. In which both the old and new testament are ONE... We are instructed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and love our neighbors as ourselves. I don't see how deconstructing the methods God employs in His chosen land is up for any human intellectual debate. God is right...period. Man has long had a different opinion of all things than Him. So what, He's still right. To follow Yeshua, Jesus, you belong to a Monarchy not a democracy or free society in the sense man makes it. I'm pretty sure that laid out boundary, so well described by God, Himself, chosen specifically for Him and His people have never needed anyone to doubt He's been in control of it from day one. "Christian zionism" is just a title people put on things they don't understand. It doesn't exist. There are mislead people - period. Title's are for intellectual people who need to define and as a result definitions become labels and labels get condemned for doing things they don't and not doing thing they "should" in the end its called judgement. Do what God says, repeat what He says and live what He says... let Him worry about justice in the land He claimed He'd take charge of. We freed society people take too much liberty to police things we have no business in and not taking responsibility for the simple things in our own back yard because we're preoccupied with spinning brain juice on things beyond us. Let God deal with Israel, you and I are to serve Him where we are. I'm almost positive, there's injustice He can open our eyes to not 10 feet from our front door. There's no policy for policing the world in the Word of God.

The conquering of Canaan wasn’t a standing order for all time. In fact, because they didn’t obey God in following through in removing everyone, He told them He would leave a portion of them in the land (Judges 2). It’s amazing how the supposed adherents to the bible always always always leave this important part out, which shows they’re STILL NOT obeying God and doing what they see right in their own eyes and in rebellion (and setting up the kingdom of the lawless one instead). Good luck with that.

The Jews returned from Babylon, as is documented in Ezra and Nehemiah, they rebuilt the Temple, Herod greatly enhanced it, and finally the Roman Legions destroyed it in 70 AD, scattering Israel through the nations until the late 1800's when they began returning in significant numbers to escape the 1900 years of persecutions and pogroms of the churches and governments. They finally became a nation in 1948, and in 75 years growing from a population several hundred thousand, to over 7 million Jews, more than ever in their history. They also revived the Hebrew language and adopted it as their national tongue. What you're seeing here is the fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy. Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand AGAIN the SECOND time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. There are Jews from over 100 nations of the world now dwelling in Israel, and growing. Thus Biblical history marches on from here leading to the return of Jesus to rule from Jerusalem Israel for a thousand years. Isa 2:1-3, Rev 20:4 The Bible simply doesn't support Mr. Bible Answer Man's Replacement Narrative.

@ricoyochanan But the Jerusalem and the rebuilt temple were under Persian rule at the close of the OT Canon. Greek rule comes from 332-164 BC. Then there is an independent Jewish state - the Hasmonean Dynasty from164-63 BC. But Rome takes over from 63 BC to AD 324. (The second temple is destroyed in AD 70.) The Christian Roman Empire has control over Jerusalem form AD 324-638. Islam Arabia takes control of Jerusalem from AD 638-1099. The crusades gives Europe control over Jerusalem form AD 1099-1187. The Islamic Egyptian Mamlukes taken control of Jerusalem from AD 1250-1517. Then the Islamic Ottoman Turks take control of Jerusalem from AD 1517-1918. Then there is the British Mandate from AD 1918-1948. It is not until 1948 that the modern state of Israel is established. So there is no perpetual control over Israel by a Jewish nation. The question of a perpetual divine inspired land title is without biblical justification. www.equip.org/article/a-biblical-response-to-christian-zionism/ and www.equip.org/articles/modern-israel-in-bible-prophecy-promised-return-or-impending-exile/

@@BibleAnswerMan Psa 105:7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth. Psa 105:8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. Psa 105:9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; Psa 105:10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Psa 105:11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: Let's look at BAM's closing statement. "It is not until 1948 that the modern state of Israel is established. So there is no perpetual control over Israel by a Jewish nation. The question of a perpetual divine inspired land title is without biblical justification." The Scriptures never say this. Allow me to fill in the rest of the story. Before Israel goes into the Promised Land they are told they will be removed from it due to disobedience. Deu 4:26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. Deu 4:27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. So BAM is actually verifying what the Scriptures say, but he didn't mention it.. Continuing the rest of the story: Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. So the Jews return to their ancestral homeland, and the promise of Psalm 105 remains.

Yes the Bible does support Mr Bible Answer Man. During the Holy week Jesus cursed the fig tree (representative of Israel) and told the Jews that "the kingdom of God is taken away from you and given to a nation bearing the fruit thereof" (Mt. 21:43). How much plainer can He make it: Israel is being replaced by the church consisting of believing Jews and Gentiles. The believer's in Christ fled Jerusalem at the approach and withdrawal of the Roman army, "for THEN shall be great tribulation....(Mt 24:21). There are NOT two "people's of God," because "the two have become one" (Eph 2:16).

@@robertdavidson9674 True, we are all one IN CHRIST: Gal_3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. But we still have different roles. Male and female are one IN CHRIST, but the male retains his separate role, and the female hers. Likewise, a Jew, doesn't stop being a Jew when he believes in Jesus. True, the Gospel is being preached largely by Gentiles now. But God hasn't forgotten the Jews: Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. Rom 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. The church was first populated by Jews: Gentiles are grafted in, they do not replace Israel: Rom 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Finally, you forgot to quote ALL of Mat 24:21....Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. NO, NOR EVER SHALL BE. 70 AD isn't the worst time of tribulation ever. Note: 66 AD-70 AD, 1 million Jews killed; 1941 AD-1945 AD, 6 million Jews killed. In addition, World War 1-15 million killed, World War 2- 50 million killed. So 70 AD IS NOT the worst tribulation ever, and billions will die in the FUTURE Great Tribulation. In conclusion: Mr. Hanegraaf doesn't have a clue.

Verse 1 of Isaiah 11 indicates that this 2nd regathering happened at the 2nd Coming of Christ, in part when all the nations were gathered at Pentecost and in 70 a.d. when the Christians fled from Jerusalem to evangelize the nations.. The phrase "in that day" appears at 11:10, 11:11, 12:1 and 12:4. Likewise, the phrase "in that day" appears 17 times in Zechariah 12-14 with numerous verses indicating that is at the time of the first coming. For example, Zech 13:7 refers to teh time when the sheep would be scattered when the shephard was struck. Zech 14:6 refers the day when the sun went dark.

While Jewish Zionism, whether religious or secular are errant, so too is Christian Zionism. Nevertheless, God knew before the creation precisely what would happen throughout what we refer to as time. Now, inasmuch as we will judge angels (1 Corinthians 6:3), and additionally, that we know Michael the Archangel watches over Israel (Daniel 12:1), who will step up and judge the angel Michael in the context of the present and/or the past historical narrative regarding Israel? Dr. Burge? Hank? Anyone? Moreover, why was there no mention of the brutal Hamas attack on October 7th? Is Dr. Burge a Palestinian or Muslim apologist? Why no retraction in 2023? Only silence. Is he denying Israel's right to defend itself? Indeed, if a hodgepodge of Islamic terrorists attacked his hometown, would Dr. Burge "turn the other cheek" or fight like a man and protect his loved ones? He did not say in 2020 or even now in 2023, but I have my suspicion he would flee the city. Moreover, while I certainly agree that God is not necessarily in the real estate business, Scripture makes it clear, nay, perfectly clear, that Christ returns on the Mount of Olives at the Second Coming (not the Charles Nelson Darby false rapture), and hence in this very sense, Israel, specifically Jerusalem, is indeed the new heaven and earth where all true believers reside for eternity "from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands" (Revelation 7:9). Finally, I am ashamed that Dr. Burge quotes the pastor who lives in Jerusalem. Indeed, if this pastor is so alarmed, so adamantly against the Israel government, why reside in Jerusalem and instead reside in Gaza or the West Bank? Sounds hypocritical to me. Perhaps the pastor knows this very well: "And the angel of the Lord said to her (Sarai), “Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the Lord has listened to your affliction. He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen" (Genesis 16:11-12). Somethings never change. I'm certainly no Islamic apologist, but this I know for certain: the LORD loves all of His creation but will righteously judge those who have not repented and trusted in Christ alone by faith alone.

There is hardly any need for Dr. Burge to make any present retractions from this past video. History cannot be erased so simply. Whereas the present Hamas attacks against Israel are unjustified, rightly condemned, and warrant an appropriate response, the persistent tensions between Palestine and Israel that have been persisting for decades, if not tracing back to 1948, cultured an environment for the radicalism. None of this justifies Hamas, but the tensions were building up for something like the current outburst to happen.. Dr. Burge carefully and faithfully has researched the issues that had come about, good and bad, intended and unintended, as the result of the establishment of the modern state of Israel in 1948. See Whose Land Whose Promise. www.equip.org/product/whose-land-whose-promise/ See also Hank’s videos concerning the Israel and Hamas war > kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6G7doKwrq-rrtk and kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHmqZ3Stdp2qm9E Dr. Burge is neither a Palestinian nor Muslim apologist. (such speculation is nonsense)

@@BibleAnswerMan Strongly disagree. He fails to come back on the issue of the hospital being "the safest place on earth" which is our hyperbole and a logical fallacy. of generalization. I did not hear Mr, Burge condemn Hamas and its murderous intent nor speak about the Hamas Charter, its failure to create a tw-ostate solution, and more. Rather than comment further to a friend of Hank (and not Hank himself who I have met and spoke with), I'll speak with Mr. Burge. I do not place my degree status before my name as it is pride. Have a blessed day despite our differences, but I'll just unsubscribe because of the wanton defense of Hamas, lack of historical facts, and more.

Have some mercy man. The current nation of Israel would not have been born if the Jews were not ethnically cleaned by the Hitler from the Europe. Is it wrong for the Jews to think of coming back to the land of their ancestors instead of living like nomads in various places of the world and even persecuted in many places? Will someone oppose if the Americans want to go back to the counties from which they emigrated from if they want to? Does not the colonizers argument apply to all Americans except the natives. Is legally migrating, colonizing or going back to the land of ancestors a sin or a wrong thing? Why many of the liberals support illegal migration but oppose legal migration of Jews due to persecution? Anyways how small was the land given to Israel in 1948? Would Nakba have happened if Palestinians had accepted the land given in 1948 and if there was no war against Israel by the Arab nations? Also would Gazans have died if Hamas had not attacked Israel on Oct 7th? Is attacking Israel the only option before the Palestinians? If River to Sea is the slogan then where will be the peace? Anyways we know that True Israel will be established when Christ comes for the Redeemer comes out of the Zion. Till that time hope both Israel and Palestine accept the two state solution. Finally, I ask why the temple mount holy to the Muslims? Did Mohammed came to it really? Was it mentioned in Quran? Was temple mount a mosque at the time of Mohammed because Islam was just born. If not how can Muslims claim that Mohammed came to it or prayed from it or even ascended into heaven and came back coming over night from Arabia and going back? Let Truth prevail but the untruth will always hate the Truth seekers and Truth speakers. Thank you and God Bless..!! 🙏💐🙌

@giridhark9889 The modern state of Israel is a friend from the Levant to the USA. This alliance can never be devalued. But when Israel does commits what amounts to ethnic cleansing within its borders, then such wrongs need to be address. It is such wrongs Israel commits against Palestinians, both Christian and Muslim, which fuels the radicalism of groups like Hamas. Christian Zionism further exacerbates the problem in drawing upon faulty interpretations of the Scriptures to lend unilateral support and theological validation to all of Israel’s actions. Thank you Brother for your reply. I will go through your articles. But I do not support the acts or approach of any radical groups whether it is radical Zionism or Hamas or Hezbollah as a way to earn freedoms or nation hoods. Even Ben-Gurion chose a moderate approach to fight for Israel. I believe the two-state solution is only way and the temple mount legitimately belongs to Jews only. I do not think Mohammed came to the Temple mount especially overnight on a donkey nor he prayed there or it was a mosque at that time. But this won't be accepted by Muslims. Anyway as a believer I believe that God doesn't live in temples made with hands and that our bodies are the temples of God in which the Holy Spirit of God lives. Actually I was not a fan of Israel but this Oct 7th attack has changed my impression on the Hamas and Palestinians or even of the world which now does not or take action against the Hamas or Hezbollah but supports them through slogans like From river to the sea. This only shows that the world is surely doomed for the end which Bible has spoken. I don't support Christian Zionism which probably believes in restoration of the physical Jerusalem to the Jews where Christian nuns are spat upon by the ultra orthodox Jews (shame on them). But as Christ has forgiven them we also forgive and show pity on them as Christ has shown pity on them. Nevertheless God wants everyone's salvation and all humans irrespective of their race, ethnicity and all are One in Christ. I look forward to the spiritual Israel and the New Jerusalem from heaven but I will never support those Palestinians and Iranians who want to wipe out the physical Israel from the world map. I don't know why though Jews may hate us Christians so much my heart still bleeds for them as Paul's heart has bled for them in Romans 9:1-9 and 10:1-13. When I was young I was attracted to the radical leftist movements as the only way to fight against the evil in society and the world. But Christ saved me and showed me that His way is the only true path. He made me turn the other cheek rather than take things into my hands or avenge myself. Now God teaches me through Paul's life how he endured a great persecution including great humiliations from his enemies but still did a great work for the Lord. As a Christian who has to live for the truth such are my role models. Thank you and God Bless You Brother and may He mightily use you for His kingdom, glory and power. Amen..!!🙏💐🙌
