GREEN HIGHLIGHT IS AAAMMMAZING my advice is to embrace the zombie aesthtic. 1. understand that it will be the focal point of the look 2. make sure you are doing a simple eye and nude lip and then layer the green ontop of a "pale" gold highlight. 3. this will help it from bein too cool and making you look like death also a green is amazing as a brow bone highlight or inner corner when working with aqua tones, as it helps build demension. i still havent figured out a purle highlight tho

I like to wear green highlighter when I wear yellow blush. I think blush is the key to green highlighter, avoid any pink in your blush or it will clash horribly. A bronzer/blush or yellows tone works great.

I've found doing a golden highlighter then just lightly topping a green on the highest point of your cheek if a fun way to add it and still have it look "wearable"

I have the Juvia's Place Berries and Chocolates 6-pans and I like them both a lot. The formula's the same as what you get in their larger palettes. However, I've found in both, although the shimmers look pretty different in the pan/swatched, they look pretty similar on the eye, which does limit how many looks you can get from them if you use them alone. Both palettes are on sale for $9 on Juvia's website right now, though, so now'd be the time to pick them up.

(I work at target) the elf quads at my store are not with the elf display (annoying, I know) but they’re on an endcap in the beauty area. You can check on the app if they’re available at your location & most targets have someone that specializes in beauty that can probably help!

I love mini...I consider the TooFaced small tin palettes mini, although they contain 8 shades. Same for the Urban Decay On the run palettes and my mini Heat. I also own some Natasha Denona 5-pans (mini and one regular I got as a gift), a Charlotte Tilburry 4-pan (gift with purchase!) and actually I use those mini palettes the most. It is a nice way to splurge, try out without breaking the bank on luxery. The 9 up to 14 are my midi/big ones. I don't have palettes that are bigger. It is fine. I can mix and max whatever I want.

I love mini palettes, they fill so many things such as travel and I always keep a neutral mini in my purse in case of a "eyeshadow emergency" haha. Seriously, I really never use the one in my purse but it makes me feel better to have a tiny one there just in case (I think I was a scout earlier in life, always be prepared)

For a green highlighter I love Becca's golden mint. I'm a bit lighter then you but I'd try mixing it with champagne pop or another golden highlighter you like to make it more wearable, if you wanted to try it on the face.

My go to palettes, although they wouldn't be mini by your definition but are still small and easy to create looks with are the colourpop going coconuts and the new taupe pallette. If im in a rush those are what I'm reaching for. A mini palette regret is the dose of colors marvelous mauves palette. Ooh, I know I have all the tones in the Rendesvous palette. I know I do. I 10,000% do. But mostly shimmer mini palette from Sigma in tones I like. how did i miss this? VERY tempting. The other thing about palettes like this that I love is that they are super great to pair with matte singles I'm trying to pan. And you're right, its a perfect, easy work look for me (if I ever go back to the office and stop doing full drag in the morning).

I agree the ND mini Lila palette is awful I de-cluttered that one. You would love any other ND mini palette. I own most of them and they’re all gorgeous, the mattes easily blend and the shimmers glide on effortlessly. My favorite is the mini retro palette and I wasn’t expecting that. It’s gorgeous

i have the nabla nude and metropolitan minis and like all of the ND minis, but i just keep reaching for the nabla nude. the "latex" formula for the two nude shades are so soft and yummy, and the shimmers are magic i can just pat those on with a finger and they sit there all day and look bangin. heres hoping for more latex.

I have the platinum and berry mini palettes from Nabla. The platinum is superb, the berry palette has a few "fails": the latex shade doesn't work at all, it is very crumbly and seems to ball up, the purple matte is quite patchy. However, totally worth it for the shade alchemy 2.0! I also like some of the Huda 9 pan palettes.

I love mini palettes and traditional quads and quints the absolute most (or making minis from my larger Natasha palettes or singles). I've been sitting on Nabla trying to pick one or two since the Beauty News girls and then Angelica reviewed them ages ago and this is a really, really good reminder. I actually just decided to get one of the Rare Beauty minis with the Sephora sale. I absolutely have these colors in my Wanderlust palette, but i rarely reach for it because of the size. Meanwhile the mini Gold is much more of a specific look and I reach for it all the time because it's mini. Since I love a one or two shimmer one and done look more and more often lately, these are really my speed. I don't love ordering from Ulta lately (I had three orders with broken items back to back this spring), but maybe I'll go in on my birthday on Monday or order from Nabla, because both of those palettes and then their Coral palette are calling my name Plus I'm curious about the Juvia's minis.

That’s tough! The Nabla has more variety but the Natasha is more of a staple for me. The mattes in the Nabla Nude are also a unique formula that is quite different from a traditional matte. If I haddd to pick, I would go with ND but they’re both fantastic!

I wish mini palettes were more of a thing!! I only have one which is my CT Darling palette. While small for what it cost, I reach for it 10x more because it fits in my makeup bag and I tend to grab it more than going to pick out a palette in my collection. That Natasha Denona one is speaking to me but I'm on a low buy so maybe the elf will help me scratch the itch for now lol.

I've been loving mini palettes! I want the mini Jalapeno ELF palette so bad but it's so hard to find in Canada. I have the Rose water one. The formula is good but the transition shade is very light. I have a similar skin tone and it barely shows up on me. It works great on my bff since she has very fair skin.

IMO, the formula of the rose elf bite-sized palette is not as good as the cream and sugar. I was bummed! It's still fine and creates a nice look for $3...but it's not as pigmented. I also totally agree with you about that glitter in the Natasha Denona mini retro....one of my favorite shades ever! It elevated almost any look. Love

I love the ND formula but haven’t tried a mini because I heard that the standard ND is not used consistently. I did get 3 of the little Elf palettes and like the color combos and that quality going on during application. But the shadows really fade quickly on me. For me they aren’t even worth the small amount I paid for them. They just sit in a drawer.

@@KellyGooch revlon, lóreal, Maybelline, rimmel inthe drugstores and even then it is limited and normally a lot later. In Sephora we have about third of the brands that the US does. The normal high end such as Channel, dior, lancôme and clinque and a few more. Browsing your ulta and Sephora online stores are like a candy store for me 😊

You could look at Odin's eye. They just did a few smaller palettes. I think they were all kinda light and springy so I wasn't wild about any of them. I also don't know if they are cruelty free off the top of my head.

I agree with the other comment Oden’s Eye would be a good option, (haven’t tried them but heard good things) but for me it’s Kaleidos!!! They have very interesting color stories in smaller palettes, I would take a look to see if any of those interest you 😊I love them!!!

GREEN HIGHLIGHTER. Okay, when ABH came out with Moonchild, I wanted that palette solely for the green highlighter, I thought it was gorgeous and I thought it might looks good with offsetting some of the red in my cheeks (it made sense to me at the time LOL). Bailey B always talks about a highlighter technique she does, where she wears a neutral as her main color, then she dusts a colored highlighter on certain points of the cheek so you only see it in certain angles - that is her way to wear it if you aren't feeling super bold with the green highlighter. I am loving the shift to mini palettes as well - larger palettes are starting to be overwhelming, and frankly with 2 little kids, I don't have a lot of time to be thinking up color combos - I just want it right in front of me, color stories that work and are tried and true. REALLY intrigued by the empowered palette, so might have to pick that up - I love greens! I would also recommend some of the Makeup Geek mini 4-pan palettes (on her website and Target) - I have Choco-Latte and that is my favorite one that I use all the time (and my favorite drink from Starbucks hah)

I was able to finally find the Pumpkin Spice palette from Elf. That one is a really good one. I've also used the Maybelline city mini palettes and so far the one's I've tried are pretty good. Especially for those days where you want something quick and easy.

Oh Kelly, you NEED to try at least one JP mini palette. My favorite (at this time) is the violets (I have several of the small and large palettes and I love them all!!!). I just received the Nubian Royals and the Nubian Glow the day before yesterday and I cannot wait to get into them! They swatch beautifully. I know a lot of people aren’t thrilled with the Glow color story, but I rather like it, and I’m truly not into yellows, oranges, or anything of those types of shades. At least from the swatches on my hand, I think it’s very pretty. I went back and forth on whether to purchase that one, but didn’t think twice about the Royals one. LOL. I’m just a cool toned gal. Always havre been, always will be. I lean more towards purple tones (love them all) and somewhat pastel shades. I recently got the Garden variety from Colourpop, and the color story in that palette is me to a tee 😊 I also love the basic cool toned neutral colors as well. I’m pretty basic but LOVE to see others wearing colorful shadows. Anyway, back to topic, you need to try JP. I highly recommend. And I in turn, need to try those Cutie Palettes from Nabla. I have been eyeing them since they released. I also wanted to get the Persona Identity palette, but dang it’s pricey! I hear it’s fantastic though, so maybe I’ll put that on my Christmas wishlist. Hey There. Happy Friday! I need a recommendation for a great brow growth serum. My doctor finally took me off a medication that had a horrible side effect of hair loss on my head, lashes, brows, etc. It's recovering everywhere but the brows so far.

I adore mini palettes, there is something so cute, compact and exciting about them. Nabla Cutie`s are great, so far I have Cutie and Coral, but I`m planning on eventually getting Berry and Platinum. I have 3 of their other bigger palettes so I think I need to cool down a bit haha. I have Huda Emerald obsession and that`s the tiniest palette I own, it`s so small. Sugarpill Fun Size palette doesn`t fit your category having 9 shades, but it`s really small and lovely pastel formula. Actually great companion for some of my larger neutral palettes. I`m yet to try ND minis. I`m always tempted and check them out, put in cart and then I convince myself otherwise. I always think, oh I have all this shades, it ain`t unique enough. I almost got the Zendo, but decided against it. Maybe next mini she releases is gonna be more fun.

My favorite quad in my collection comes from Nomad Cosmetics & it’s called “Malibu” it is such a beautiful green/khaki dude & also looks quite similar to the new baby yoda palette from Colourpop! Definitely check out Nomad cosmetics (cruelty free, indie brand)
